I always appreciate the effort you put into this DKluin and i'm thankful it has come so stable as it is but as you know some bugs may appear still.

I tested the save game again and made random save on san andreas after new game without anything, then closed game, loaded that save and spawned hydra then flew into ocean, result was clean crash into desktop, log is here. After loading save going near bullworth is also crashing.

also i noticed that bloodhound maverick sometimes stays on sweets house roof, not hydra.

I doubt I will be able to help to be honest.

 

Alright, LC traffic updates & LC lampposts are now breakable.

Lift bridge has cars stopping when the bridge goes up aswell.

Things I am fixing now:

 

-LC lampposts positions (original positions from III were a bit off, now that they can be broken, so ofcourse I would fix these aswell)

-Borgnine had wrong colors

 

Things soon sorted:

-Portland traffic won't ignore traffic lights anymore (I pretty much did Shoreside Vale + Staunton Island already)

-Directional traffic

No. Its long way to beta 2.0. Even beta 1.0 its not released yet.

It wont work with amod the size of mine I think.

And its pretty much incompatible with FLA.

Well, I'm using FLA along with tons of added cars in modloader and it's working fine :p

 

But ofc FLA is installed on the root folder of the game, it obviously doesn't work if placed inside modloader.

 

I haven't actually tested this mod with ModLoader though, just thought I would ask since some ppl were saying it's incompatible.

It won't work, probably due to the size of the mod. Just make a vanilla game backup, that should do it.

 

Also dkluin, I think it would be a bit esaier for everyone if you put the bug reporting page link on the first page, it's going to get buried one day, thanks!

I have a minor suggestion. The Vice City ped WFYSH doesn't have shopping bags (you're using the United peds right?) the other week I downloaded a VC ped pack for SA and the WFYSH model has the shopping bags, if I can find the link to where I got them from I will post it so you can ask the author if you can use his peds (if you wanted too of course). As I think it would be better to have her model with the shopping bags as she did in the original VC. I haven't seen WFOSH walking around but if she also doesn't have shopping bags it would be good to get her model with them too.

They are named to directly replace San Andreas peds so WFYSH is named ofyri and WFOSH is named ofost.

Is it alright to use mods like the joy pad mod, silent patch, and wide screen fix? I would like to know before I go through a bunch of trouble trying to figure out why my game is crashing.

 

Edit: Looks like installing the mod period leads to crashing in the loading screen. Farther than I got on the last build I tried. Game didn't even run.

 

Edit: After downloading a 1.0 US exe off of some shady website, the mod works now. I have no idea why this fixes it as the other exe I had worked with practically every other SA mod in existence.

 

I will say one thing about this mod. It is one of the most nostalgic mods I have played. After playing GTA V for a while, it is a great mod to have when going back to relive the 3D era in one go. Especially since it isn't just the maps, but also the radio, peds, everything. You must have put many hours of work into it. Keep it up.

 

The only thing I hate is that it frequently glitches about 1/4th of the way through the loading screen and can frequently crash your entire gui, resulting in a forced shutdown of my PC being required. I think some window pops up in the background because the Windows 10 Game Bar notification pops up. This mod doesn't take to kindly to being minimized. When I had it working, I couldn't minimize the game. So I need to get it running in window mode.

hey Danny would it be possible to ever implement some of the max payne levels in this mod somewhere? that would be cool. maybe connected to carcer or as a separate city of its own!

I remade a CLEO script for yourself. All weapons (including new) scrolling the mouse wheel. Maybe someone will need.

Q - switch ;
1 in the car - previous ;
2 in the car - following ;
3 in the car - hide weapons.

To shoot out of the car needs a script Drive By

VC Sabre (comes with 3 different roof extras) and the Sabre Turbo (creds to Spartan for the sick rims)

I completely agree with what you said before, people don't seem to appreciate what you do and the work you put into it, but I also think there is a bit of a misunderstanding, because you say that 95% of the thead is just bug reports, but without that how will you know how to fix it?

 

Sorry about Red leaving... hope it doesn't have a big impact or he can be replaced.

You should be statisfied we dont have to delete:

 

-All cars from VC/III

-All peds from VC/III

-The entire radar map

 

 

Nothing personal against Red, but his cars are not feating into a mod based on SA engine. All that cars have to be redone to fit into trhe mod. Specially after having such great car converter and modeler like Spartan and the other car devs, sorry don´t know their names, the mod doesn´t need that cars by Red. But his peds and radar is something the mod needs.

His cars are already being redone, which will work with tuning garages.

 

So ofcourse, since I made GRGX compatible with new ID limits it will be easy add new tuning garages in LC & VC.

Don't use Widescreen fix. SilentPatch does the job for that issue. GInput is working fine aswell (and is literally recommended with this mod, same for SilentPatch!) so those should not be causing issues at all.

 

About compatible mods, MixSets (by Junior_DJJR), Pimp My Car (lite version by ZAZ) and a few other CLEOS works just fine aswell.

LC car crusher is being added.

 

Features:

-It gives a reward based on the vehicle health and car class (all vehicles should work with it)

-It ofcourse has the moving objects, such as the car gets attatched to a magnet, the car gets thrown into the car crusher, the crusher closes and it will display the money earned from crushing the vehicle.

-The crusher has a marker on the minimap.

-Heavy vehicles, law enforcement vehicles or bicycles won't be accepted.

 

Later on I want the user to be able to purchase the car crusher. The more cars crushed, the more money it makes.

I'm not using United peds, and btw, these peds need an update so they hold shopping bags maybe.

A little detail is going to be added:

 

If I recall correctly, VC, III and SA had preferred radio stations based on their vehicle class. So peds driving in vehicles like the Picador, Clover, or Sadler would prefer specific radio stations. When hijacking them, the preferred radio station would play. In GTA Underground, radio stations chosen are completely random, regardless of their vehicle class.

 

I would like to do it slightly different:

 

-The preferred radio station idea would come to GTA Underground

-I would make it so there's a 50% chance that the preferred radio station is selected, and 50% chance for a random radio. This also includes the preferred radio station. This means that there would be a large chance that the preferred radio station would play instead of a random one.

 

It would work slightly better aswell.
