Found a bug with the savegames, I load VC and LC savegames and then the game crashes, I loaded SA savegame and it works fine. and then I thought I should delete the SA savegame, and I deleted it, and the two other savegames worked without crash. It seems that both VC and LC savegames are conflicting with the SA one

sounds like your playing story mode? If not then I'm not sure I don't believe people need telling now to download patch 4, I think everyone will have it now including me.

Oh my apologies, and forgive me for being a noob lol but how do I send a crash log?

see that txt file, fastman92 crash log, or whatever its called copy and paste that into the post box on this site then put it in a spoiler tag

I don't know dude, just doesn't work for me even with patch 4, also the car spawner even with INI works SA vehicles only...

I've noticed as well somethings don't work for me with patch 4 as well, maybe I've done something wrong but somethings work, somethings don't; I've always installed this the same tbh so I doubt I've done anything wrong but you never know.

Yes, for me too, there are a lot of bugs for me. I know I correctly installed it because most of the mod's content works fine, I hope Dkluin can fix those bugs for the next patch/snapshot/beta release

if you struggle sending crash logs on here, I do to, dkluin might let you send him them on Skype... if he does he's under dkluin, search that, he has the same logo as he does on here.

Are you running on Windows 8? If you are, make sure you run the gta-sa.exe in Compatibility Mode for Windows XP Service Pack 2 for example. That's what I did and it fixed issues with crashing when saving or loading the game.

Nope, I have Windows 7 Ultimate and don't plan to use Windows 8...

You can still right click on the exe, click properties and select the compatibility settings there. I might try that myself actually.

-Ammu-Nation gun arrays for the menu panel is changed to 64 different weapons, maybe one day I will have to rewrite the whole shop script so it supports multiple pages.

Exactly. I am adding new weapon categories aswell.

 

My script edits will open the way for hardware stores, which will sell VC/SA/III melee weapons.

I found out what has to be done or changed to allow this.

 

A simple shopping.dat wouldn't do it. The weapon IDs are still locked inside the SCM.

 

Weapons which are currently working with Ammu-Nation:

 

-VC Ruger

-VC Python

-VCS Skorpion

-VC M60

-III M16

 

You will be able to purchase custom weapons aswell. Custom weapons can be found accross the entire map. VC Ammu-Nation shops will sell VC & VCS weapons, and LC Ammu-Nation shops will sell LC & LCS weapons.

They will have unique prices, names, and more.

 

Also updated gang wars, in Vice City gang wars are now using different weapons. The VC UZ-I, the Ruger, and the MP5K are now used by VC gangs. Added gangs now have custom weapons based on what they had in VC/III, I did make some changes to make it more fun aswell. It's fully balanced, there are more powerful gangs like the VC Bikers, which now use Sawnoff Shotguns, Skorpions, and bats.

There is going to be a new video up soon showing off this massive patch.
