  1. 1. Should there be an option to choose a city to start the game in (instead of always spawning in LS)

  2. 2. Which features in the 3.3 update are you most hyped about?

    • UG-MP (SA-MP adaption)
    • Carcer City progress (the extra levels + the expanded Church area + Ammu-Nation, this is nothing more but a few small pieces!)
    • Weather/postfx interpolation (meaning the weather doesn't instantly change when entering a new city)

I mean, it's a nice addon, but does it make sense to add "cargo delivering missions" for a public transport like a subway? It's not the same thing as a cargo train.

Blame R* for their logic. As said, you can play this side mission while driving passenger trains in GTA: SA (see

if you somehow don't believe it) and I added it to LC for the sake of consistency.

 

 

just fix that logic by replacing the text "Cargo" with the text "Passengers", do you agree to do that?

That car looks great! Finally, this design isn't just on a hearse. Why doesn't it have xvehicleenv128, however? You should map the car with that so it can look nicer :)

Oh, I failed to notice, then. For some reason, Underground removes reflections on cars after a few have spawned.


It has xvehicleenv128.

Speaking of the Idaho (not the Hachura), it looks a bit unfinished, because it has Infernus rims, no xvehicleenv128, and no door seams.

Patched wind multipliers so hurricanes (and all additional weather types!) affect waves, moving banners/vegetation and a lot of other stuff.

I might expose some of this stuff to a file which the game will load, so people could modify it if they want to adjust these specific parameters.

Do you need custom engine sounds for additional cars? I am currently doing some sound mods for private purpose, but maybe there is something you need for UG?

Yeah it would be awesome if the new cars would have a new sound. The old ones are boring to hear all the time even if it's a new car (no offense). The mod is awesome btw. It would be cool with some general improvements in SA aswell. Updates/fixes/changes etc.

I am mostly using modified Forza 7 sounds, GTA V sounds are also quite good but there are already many of them available for download. I might also go for Driver:SF as that game isn't a bad source and collects too much dust on my external HDD...

 

GTA SA has vacuum cleaner sounds by default, as the cars themself were never in the focus of the game as it is in Driver:SF or any racing game.

 

I could take engine sounds from videos, but they have too many background noises. Nevertheless, I have Bullit engine sounds in SA when I drive my Mustang Fastback through San Fierro. These oldshool movies have no background music so that its maybe possible to have an acceptable result :D

Current project is the Ford Fairlane 500 engine sound from the Driver movie. Thats one of the best V8 sounds I have ever heard.

Not sure. Afaik you can't add sound banks to the game yet. Maybe it is possible, but I don't know how.

SA has few unused sound banks for engine sounds and not all of them work. I think it were about 3 or 4 that can be used.
