What's the best sounding gun?

Assault SMG, it sounds great very fast rate of fire and it's one of my favourite weapons, it needs to be improved, it also sounds better than any other weapon when silenced. The marksman rifle also sounds brutal at distance.

 

I wish I could test how weapons sound at distance, the distortion and how far the sound travels.

The AP pistol thunders like an angered deity but my favourite weapon sound is the suppressed Assault shotty. I just love how incongruous the *pshew pshew pshew* is compared to the nearly solid wall of lead flying outta the barrel.

Combat MG, that steady chug chug is tied inextricably to my character.

 

Worst sounding weapon is assault shotgun with a silencer, absolute fantastical nonsense that it would be that quiet. It sounds more like a lover whispering in your ear than a series of deadly explosions.

Lucky you. When I snipe NPCs so far away the reticle blocks out their heads, their mates immediately whip out pistols and start pinging me in the eye.
