What's the best sounding gun?

As for me, I love the way the Bullpup rifle sounds. I stopped using the thing, but it sounds so sweet.

 

The Assault rifle doesn't sound too bad itself.

I'll have to check out that Assault SMG, can't even recall how it sounds. But that Heavy tho.

 

I tried switching to the Advanced Rifle, but the Special Carbine kept calling my name. It kinda has a close sound to the Bullpup.

The majority of the gun sounds in this game are crap. Only the pump-action shotgun, the assault shotgun, the sniper rifle, the special carbine and maybe the pistol sound half-decent. But all the gun sounds are far too quiet. Compare GTA IV's sounds to GTA V. A whole world of difference. The carbine rifle sounded like a beast and had intensity. The desert eagle sounded like hand cannon, the way it should. While it had some less impressive sounds (Mainly the DLC weapons), it was for the most part brilliant.

 

Rockstar really dropped the ball on GTA V's gun sounds. Which is a shame, because everything else is improved.

Taking your word for it...I never analyzed GTA IV to the level I currently do for GTA V. Never even played GTA IV online...

If you get the chance, you should compare them. I never really appreciated GTA IV's gunshot sounds until playing a session of IV recently, after being used to V's sounds since 2013.

Sometimes during missions with randoms I'll use my Gusenberg Sweeper on close enemies because everyone else is using rifles with silencers and it makes a more distinctive, louder sound, plus not every player has the sweeper
