onefast96svt Posted February 23, 2015 Share Posted February 23, 2015 I had the whole rare car collection. Then update after update, but then the cars were added to online sales. Now really the only REAL rare cars are the ones where you need a specific car to get the other to spawn, ex. hearse or the bodily less dune buggy. I'm sure there are more but these off the top of my head. Or you could call it RARE cars when it's a car you never see anyone drive as a daily driver. I've got a few like the top less manana,felon (hard top and convertible) oracle 2, schwartzer, picador, regina, schafter, and the stratum. These you can't buy but are seen on the street a lot. FrugalDangerMan Posted February 23, 2015 Share Posted February 23, 2015 I went after a Simeon HPV (Pro tip, DO NOT GOOGLE IMAGE SEARCH "HPV") and right beside it spawned an Obey Tailgaiter. I was stuck in a quandry for a few seconds before I remembered that although they are "rare" in their spawn rate, you can buy them now, so they don't matter anymore. B00Minyourface Posted February 23, 2015 Share Posted February 23, 2015 I think that there are a couple of rare cars left, but it is a shame that so many of the ones that were pretty tough to find on last gen are either available to buy now, or spawn all over the place on the XBone Rare ones that are still rare (IMO) Dubsta 2 - Spawns very rarely at a particular time of day in gold or chrome. No better performance wise than the 1, but has offset spare wheel and no chrome strip on the side. Can store and mod in LSC Speedo Van - does spawn but you don't see very many. Can store, but only mod with Charles / iFruit Burrito van - same as Speedo above Hearse - never spawns unless you have someone in session who already has one. Can store and mod in LSC sh*tzu Vader - think this bike is still hard to come by, does occasionally spawn and can be stored and modded in LSC Hard top Stallion - very rarely see these. you can't buy them, but unfortunately I don't think you can store them even if you are lucky enough to pick one off the street (someone please tell me if they have found a way to do this!!) I can't get any of my cars on ifruit to update. I may need to wipe from app on my phone. I want to upgrade lifeguard blazer and one of the vans. How do I get up with Charles? I've seen a post somewhere but not sure of the location. I thought the Vader could be purchased online? And the stallion I don't think I've even seen a convertible, or I have just not caring. Had the same problem spawning the Schwartzer until recently. I spawned mine around Eclipse Towers in a public lobby while driving the Schyster Fusilade. Make sure you're in a public lobby not invite only and drive any car in the sports class around Vinewood Hills, Vespucci Beach. Eventually, your Schwartzer will spawn. I can make several of them spawn, one at a time, every morning at about 7:30 to noon just south east of Madrazo's in town home. Not rare anymore. Its an ugly beat up car and you cant get rid of the rust on it but if you spray it white or yellow its slightly less noticeable. You can find it around the Sandy Shores area on the map. Burrito spawns by the satellite dishes at a specific time. The hardtop stallion used to able to be purchased along with 2 other versions of the stallion unavailable now since the festive update. Gunslinger_GK Posted February 25, 2015 Share Posted February 25, 2015 Hardtop clean Tornado: a couple of crewmates and myself looked for hours to find one for me. We eventually got lucky and one spawned in Grove Street in its gang version, but it really took a while, and we tried everything. During approximately 3 hours, switching sessions fairly often, we could only find soft-top tornados, still i eventually found a rusty hard top in Sandy Shores, i tried to use it to trigger the spawn but had no luck. I drove my phoenix around grove street and strawberry, also around downtown LSC as it is said that you could find the tornados here but nothing. Finally, one of my mates found one in a solo session afer several attempt and session switching, parked on grove street in its gang version and gave it to me.
