Cop-free GTAV no longer available on next gen?

Hi, I used to love playing GTAV on my xbox360 without cops, but now on my next gen version I can't seem to be able to do this. You see I discovered by accident that I can escape during the first mission with Lester, the mission after marriage counseling were Michael goes to Lester's home and ends up blowing up an iFruit eggbert accidentally while flipping through TV channels, all you have to do is when you get to the clothes store and purchase the clothes you can run amok the city for days on end and you will never get a cop chasing you. You will get no stars no matter even if you go straight into the Air Force Base and steal a fighter jet. Same doesn't work in the next generation. Has anybody found another way to get rid of the cops?

 

I mean that's all I pretty much did after completing the game is just running around the city in single player without any coppers. I just got myself the next gen and am now thinking I should keep on playing on the old gen, because it's so much more fun shooting gang members and knocking down 50 bollas in a fist fight instead of just three before the heat is on. I mean one should be able to enjoy a fist fight in the back alley with a group of adversaries without the cops breaking it up? Who else doesn't want a cop free city at times?

Yeah, but that thread only discusses old gen.

 

PS you should try with your ps3, I'm sure it will work. Just follow the what I described above. Replaying the mission will work.

Firstly. The cletus hunting mission in Paleto forest, where you kill the elk and use the diaphragm to track them, all you have to do is get up to the last elk, the one you are meant to photograph and send to cletus, you can either not kill the last elk, the whole map will be virtually empty minus a few scripted vehicles, but you can startle the elk and fail the mission quite easily, for example I've blown up a petrol station near pillbox hill and the elk heard it from that distance and failed the mission, but you can kill the elk and not take the photo, which introduces very light traffic, but there's no way to fail the mission unless you die, everything still works like online vehicle purchases, garages etc they just aren't on the map, so if you don't know where things are you'll need to check before the mission, it is literally impossible to gain a wanted level whichever way you decide to do the glitch.

 

Secondly. I found that the business mission for the cinemas as Michael, where you need to fly a promotional plane, if you go into the airport and trigger the message to get in the plane, you can drive off, you don't get a wanted level unless a cop actually sees you commit a crime, which is so much better than the normal system, sometimes you can shoot cops in the face and not get a wanted level it's a little touch and go like that, the wanted level also caps out at three stars which is a lot more fun and manageable than 4-5 stars and it's great fun being able to take down as many police and their choppers without ever pushing past a 3 star, only you cannot use cheat codes, whereas with the Trevor/cletus hunting mission you can I also cannot remember if garages work or not so if you want a certain car you'll need to trigger the mission with it.

 

So to summarise:

 

Option one; (Trevor)

 

City is virtually unpopulated.

No wanted levels at all.

Full garage and internet purchasing available.

All cheat codes available.

Cars engine sounds are reduced significantly. (Probably so that passing traffic doesn't startle the elk)

 

Option two; (Michael)

 

City is populated as usual.

Can get wanted levels up to 3 no higher.

Only can get wanted if seen breaking the law by police.

No cheat codes available.

Unsure of garages working or online purchases.

Fairly sure LSC still works however, probably ammunation too.

Scrap the above line they are closed.

Edit: I forgot to mention that with the second option, although cheats aren't available, you can start the glitch with slidey cars active and it will remain so unless you submerse a vehicle in water destroying it, or get on a motorbike or atv. The reason I say this is that I will only play GTAV with this cheat active and I am aware of a handful of others who are the same.

 

I also forgot to mention that every time I have done the second glitch with Michael I have needed to purchase the airport to gain access to the airport and in turn, to access the P symbol for the mission, that may or may not be a factor, but I just can't say.

Thanks,I'll be most happy, if especially the latter Michael mission works, coz I like them fist fights without cops. Have to play thru the missions again, I think that one was quite far ahead in the game.

Heureka! Now this is what I'm talking about! Replay Crystal Maze - just at the very beginning of the mission, you will be able to enjoy the city without cops endlessly and without any annoying background music. Thank you so much Rockstar, now I'm happy with the product. Some cheats work, such as spawn vehicle cheats.
