Exemplar vs Felon

I'd stick with the Felon, it has more predictable handling which makes it a more reliable vehicle for free roam, and is a touch faster in races. I think the Felon is more classy as well, where as the Exemplar is a bit of a show-off car since it's basically a stretch sports car.

Of course, that's not to say that the Exemplar doesn't handle well, but when it comes to free roam and missions where all kinds of **** is thrown at you, the Felon should be the more reliable choice.

They are both great cars though, and with 30 slots if you like them both then I'd just get them both. I stick with my Felon but have been really tempted by the Exemplar lately, but I only have maybe 2 or 3 slots open and I'm waiting to see what comes in the heists DLC before I commit anything to those spaces.

Schafter is the best 4 door

If by "best" you mean fastest, then it is definitely not.

But I don't have enough money........ *cries*

Exemplar all the way. 4 doors come in handy and it's my favorite coupe to race with. I used to love the Felon/Felon GT but they roll over ridiculously easy.

Keep the Felon.

Actually, keep both Felons. They both have their uses. (I bet I can make you love the 4 door Felon)

When it comes to fully tuned 4-door cars the Felon and the Exemplar are pretty close performance-wise with a slight edge for the Felon. So, in that regard you can't go wrong either way.

Stylistically, while the Exemplar is a bit fancier than the Felon, it lacks any individual tuning options that would make it stand out while the Felon can be tuned to something that looks quite sporty and gangster-y. So, if you swapped your Felon for an Exemplar because you are bored of the former chances are that you will be just as bored with the latter after a month or two. And if you are easily bored with driving around in the same 4-door coupe all the time there is only one solution: get both. ;)

(I bet I can make you love the 4 door Felon)

The 4-door is actually the faster one of the two (due to the spoiler option probably), so that's not a hard thing to do. :p

Go with the Exemplar. It's more fancier, and it's British just like you.

If you do go with an Exemplar, do not customise it like that. Thats just wrong on all levels......

felon look like police interceptor ( having great performance : police interceptor's acceleration is faster than most of sedan while felon is fastest sedan , shares similar front fascia and engine sound )

in fact , felon are not expensive as exemplar and felon has wider customization options .felon in the streets may be sold for $9k whereas exemplar found in street cannot as too hot

If you are on PS4, and if you are like me and think that a good engine sound is important, you should choose the Exemplar. I mean - when the handling is more or less the same.

I bought the Exemplar on the PS3 and kept it for a long time. I liked it - it was almost perfect. One day though I got bored and sold it. I felt it was missing something.

However, on the PS4 its sound is abosolutely amazing - so I bought it again. I now feel that the package is complete, and this time it's a keeper :) .

A day of missions should be more than enough, and we hopefully have heists coming up soon so even if you don't want to do missions now you will be making some money soon. Since both the Felon and Exemplar are good choices for racing you could do some races with them to recover some of the money spent.

The 4-door is actually the faster one of the two (due to the spoiler option probably), so that's not a hard thing to do. :p

The sedan has actually always been faster than the GT, even before the spoiler change. It's not totally unheard of in real life as there are many convertibles that are quite heavy thanks to extra chassis bracing and the electric motors or hydraulic system that powers the roof (assuming it has a power roof).

good lord so much misinformation when one of these threads gets made...the felon is quicker round a track and has better handling with a spoiler especially but the exemplar has the best straight line speed in coupes...

I have both as well as a Zion which is quicker than both...

The felon for me is the best looking...

search broughys thread to see performance for yourself...

In terms of mission vehicles it along with my Zion, Sultan, Exemplar, Stratum, Schafter, Washington & Warrener is very capable...

No mention of the Tailgater? Classy, pretty damn nimble and can be found on the streets. What's not to like?

Great car but lacking a little in straight line speed...an excellent vehicle for missions though and around a track it is far an away in second place in sedans...big gap between it and third...used to have one after working my arse off getting it to spawn ages ago and then they f*cking made it available...

When I get a chance, I'm gonna take a picture of my Exemplar and it will change your mind.

In the time being, can someone tell me how to post a pic? Lol

Exemplar is more balanced vehicle in class and it's faster in terms of acceleration. However, some people may find handling of Felon more appealing (very predictable oversteer). In racing it's no brainer — Exemplar, but they're very, very close and it's more important how you drive.

I own both and I like them. Actually, I'm thinking about getting Felon GT just for the looks.

This used to be the case but since the spoiler update the exemplar is firmly in 3rd place racing wise...look at any crew coupe race if you don't believe me...

The exemplar is number one for tracks like the commute and long haul 2 lol

Zion > both

I think she wants a 4 door though so

felon+exemplar > zion

Also if you want an exemplar then get it, it's really good

Schafter is the best 4 door

Agreed! Ive had all 3 and i still have my Schafter

How is the Exemplar "more balanced" than the Felon sedan exactly? It's faster in a straight line but doesn't handle as good as the Felon, so I'm not sure how that's "more balanced"?

It's not a "no brainer" for the Exemplar for racing either... The Felon is faster around most circuits. Not that the Felon blows the Exemplar away or anything mind you, but the Felon is a bit faster.

Felon.

Not for performace, but I find it much more asthetically pleasing. The Exemplar suffers from "hey, let's combine a bit of the Rapid GT and fuse it with a sedan." Looks like a goofy cross breed of car.

Thus, Felon all day.

The zions handling is something else though and tops both...it's like it's on rails...the Zion is the definition of well balanced...only jester has better balanced handling for me...Felon is excellent as well though

I did some testing on a highly underrated track the academic (i think by someone here??) that was verified and I used these 3 and the jackal...Zion on that track was way ahead and the felon was way ahead of the exemplar...the jackal has incredible handling as well btw and was very close to the exemplar...the Jackal overall is 4th due to it having terrible top speed but it certainly handles better than the exemplar with it's spoiler on

I like cruising around and doing missions in my Exemplar, I find it quite nice. Fast and can seat 4, looks are find IMHO. I do have a drop top Felon as well though ;)

If you really feel like you love the Exemplar, then buy that. You can always recover the felon later (if you sold it/replaced it) for free (steal dat' bitch!) by replacing some other car in your garage I guess.

Not sure about the other guy, but when I was speaking of balance I was more referring to the vehicle's overall performance rather than handling balance... Exemplar is more focused on acceleration and speed, Zion more on handling*, and the Felon strikes a better balance between handling and speed.

* To be honest though I haven't really drag raced a Zion vs a Felon though so I might be wrong, but in my Felon I always seemed to be a bit quicker on the straight bits compared to people I was racing, but that's not exactly the most precise measurement given all the factors.

Classy? Bitch please. Does it have chrome door handles and it is from an exotic country? Sure, it's nimble, but what's a car without character? To me it's just a normal car, unlike the Felon and Exemplar.

LightningLord

Hey fellow wombat lovers! I have a dilemma - I have a Felon, and used to have an Exemplar. However, I sold the Exemplar for money. I love my Felon, but I'm getting bored of it. One day, I had a lust - a lust for the Exemplar. I turned on my console and bought an Exemplar in Story Mode. I loved it. The thing is, I only have about 600K - and the Felon is a part of my GTA garage that I cannot let go. However, I can NOT stand two four door coupes... Please, help me!

The Exemplar is a nice car in my opinion. To me, it feels faster than the Felon. If you can, keep both. But if you can't, get an Exemplar.

Keep the Felon and obtain a gold Super Diamond and pretend you are a rich Arab.

"Arab money!"
