Does your wife/girlfriend (husband/boyfriend) play GTA?

Hey Fellas (and ladies)

 

I just wanted to how many other 'significant others' like playing/watching GTA.

 

Quick story - my wife doesnt play video games and couldnt understand why i like them so much. For years i used to get nagged at about playing the game over spending time with her. Y'all know how it goes.

 

so one day she came in my office and just started watching me play. She realised that i was playing online with both of her younger brothers and asked if she could try. SURE! I end up going to bed and she stayed up til 4am playing!!!

 

Then for about a week i had to literally pry the sticks from her so i could get some playing time! She made a 2nd character of her own under my profile name and everything lmao! Even spent ALL my "boots to the ground" glitch money (crash into wall glitch). So i asked her if i bought her, her own ps4 and gta would she still want to play? That weekend i bought her the whole set up and weve been having a ball!

 

For any man/woman in a marriage/relationship whos a gamer this is HEAVEN! Not only does the wife get it now, but we also spend more time together. Now my mother in law is next, she doesnt like the violence part but likes the sandbox experience cause we live in the SoCal area.

 

Anybody else have a similar experience?..just curious..

Nah my wife is like full retard when it comes to moving both sticks at the same time. But she plays the disney infinity game I got my daughter and loves tekken.

THIS! It took her a while to get the hand coordination together! She beat the story all on her own though. Her lil bro told her to do the story to learn how to play. Now shes not "good" but she can play her role in missions!

That's pretty awesome. I let my wife drive while I was on a mission once. She delivered a van to some warehouse. It took forever. She had a hard time going straight, staying on the road, turning, following the map, etc.

 

Then she said 'let me just pick out your guy's clothes' so... That's where I'm at.

I keep trying to get the Mrs interested in playing vidya games. Its just not happening though. Might just be a blessing. I doubt she would allow me to go out and buy another Xbox just like that. I would likely end up getting kicked off so she could play.

My Mrs buys most of my clothes as it is. GTA is my chance to dress myself....

DontTry2Hard - thats where it started! Dressing my character and shooping for clothes/snacks until the she got killed by her brother and went into a rage (funniest sh*t ever)

 

Headdogg81 - im blessed to have the gig i do. If we sell a certain company's machines we get points a giftcard. One of the places we can spend them is Gamestop. Thats the ONLY way this happened! Thats the only way Ill be hooking up my mom in law too

However, his buddies are more interested in playing with me than him so he kinda lost interest in playing GTA Online cause whenever he got on, they asked for me to get on instead ha

My soon to be wife doesn't have much gaming nouse, her technical abilities are somewhat limited in the gaming world (her younger brother is a 10th degree blackbelt gamer). But she will sit down and watch me play and try and seem interested, sometimes even bringing me a cup of tea (or a beer....hence why I 'put a ring on it')

She knows she'll get a quick neck massage during the loading screens, or when I get disconnected from a session. Needless to say she's been quite relaxed lately!

lmao! Definitely getting alot of that. "COACH, wheres the wife?!" Had a couple guys put their girlfriends on the game to see if they would get the GTA bug too. I love it.

sometimes when he comes over my house, all we do is play gta. His name is Kevin while my name is Lenny, when he play i sometimes bring up the snacks (e.g doritos, weed, cigs, chips ahoy) we cater to each other while we play.

 

Once one of us starts it's game OVER, we'll be playing forever and end up falling asleep then my mom will have to come upstairs and tell him to go home

 

Can't wait till i move the fuk out

Yeah! My 3 girlfriends me, myself, and I enjoy playing GTA throughout the night. It is a really great experience!

my missus struggles with the concept of putting one leg in front of the other so there is no way shes got the coordination to play game consols, plus, her and the kids aren't allowed to touch my ps4, they're only allowed to use the ps3 but only for netflix, no games! lol

I'm a lucky one. My wife got so into GTAO that she created her own character, PSN account, and R* SC account. She's went from terrible to not too bad. She holds her own in Deathmatches and free roam PVP and is actually a lot more vicious than me in free roam lol. She yells at me for not killing the friendly guy honking his horn at her character. She also loves survivals.

 

She still has some problems driving and flying tho. Won't race at all (just gives me the sticks if a race is chosen) and sometimes gets lost in the dust during missions cause she can't get to the mission fast enough cause of the bad driving.

 

One day we'd like a 2nd system so our characters can actually play together.
