Rose.Quartz
Ok, so I was using the IMG tool and I had a mod that will change the Grove Street members into Crips. So once I replaced them I started GTA San Andreas and I saw that they were still wearing green. Did something go wrong?
TJGM
Are you rebuilding the archive after you replaced the model and texture? I'm not even sure why you'd still use IMG Tools anymore to be honest, just use Mod Loader.
Rose.Quartz
Sorry, I'm new to modding. I also did what you said and used Mod Loader but I have two more question. - When I watched some videos about Mod Loader I did what they did and it's still not working. Still normal gang members. What happened and what did I do wrong? When I saw the video it said to make a folder in the Mod Loader folder and add the mods in. When I start up GTA SA it says "This Game Is Not Supported". Is that what causes the problem that I said above or is it something else? Edited February 23, 2015 by Eleed

Rose.Quartz
I don't remember since it was a long time ago but it's not from Steam.
Rose.Quartz
When I try to run the application it says "The program can't start because vorbisfile.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem.". What do I do now?
Gramps
Did you install an ASI Loader as well? This ASI Loader is also shipped with CLEO4
Rose.Quartz
I have installed ASI Loader once but I had to reinstall my game because of the "The program can't start because vorbisfile.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." problem. I downloaded the one you posted on your reply and since I have another person using this computer, he installed Norton and now I can't install it. Any other things that can work or....? Gramps
Why can't you install it? Is Norton's flagging it as malicious? Also, the ASI Loader ships with the vorbisfile.dll. Are you sure you downloaded the 'ASI Loader 1.3' from the link I provided above, rather than the 'Version 1.3 source code'? Please post the size of your .exe also. Rose.Quartz
Yes, I am sure I downloaded ASI Loader 1.3. Norton keeps on saying vorbisfile.dll is not safe whenever I try to replace the other ones. For the size of my .exe, I don't know that much about computers since I don't use computers too much so I don't know how to check the size of my .exe. How do I check it? Gramps
Right click on the .exe, and then click on properties at the bottom of the menu. Also, Right click on the folder that San Andreas is installed in, and make sure it isn't set to Read Only
Rose.Quartz
Alright, thank you but I have one more question. Which .exe do I click and where is it at?
Gramps
The gta_sa.exe. It is located wherever you installed the game. I can't help you on that one sorry. By default, its normally something like: C:\Program Files(x86)\Rockstar\GTA San Andreas\
Rose.Quartz
All I see is gta_sa is that the one I'm looking for? I searched gta_sa.exe in my GTA San Andreas folder and that shows up so I'm just guessing that's it? If it is, the size is 8.30 MB. Gramps
It didn't show the .exe part of the filename, because I guess you have the option ticked for 'Hide Extension for Known File Types'. I'm not familiar with that size .exe, sorry. Up above, Link/2012 posted a link that says 'use this'. Get that, and replace it with your current .exe. Have you tried that yet? Rose.Quartz
I have but it says "The program can't start because vorbisfile.dll is missing from your computer. Gramps
You have the wrong gta_sa.exe. You need a v1.0 US version (which is just over 14MB).
Rose.Quartz
So I need a downgrader or something? I have one if that's what I need...
