people always try to put PC down by saying "muh hakers enjoy dealing with modders in every game waaah waah" which is totally bullsh*t.

PC has a much older and mature player base which is much less likely to cheat than the thousands of script kiddies on consoles. you are only likely to encounter cheaters or 'hackers'

on widely popular online games such as counter strike, which is to be expected on any gaming platform

 

plus a large amount of online games have VAC (valve anti cheat) on top of their own anti cheating system, which is highly effective and will often immediately ban accounts which it

detects having played illegitimately

PC games I have legitimitally seen cheaters with my own eyes.... Minecraft xrays and Payday 2 money falling from the sky. That is all.

 

Let people have their ignorant opinions. Wont stop us having fun

 

Can't forget about Counter Strike, NFSW, DAY Z, etc hahaever since the devs came back to nfsw over 70% of the playerbase has been banned for hacking or cheating

Not much options for people that will use multiple platforms on that poll. I have a weird case. I own it in Xbox 360, I borrow an Xbox One over weekends and I am near finishing my PC so I will be playing on all editions. Planning on just owning it on Xbox One and PC.

I already own it on PS3 and PS4 (would have got it for PC if it came out for that in the first place..) May not buy, will see about other ways of acquiring it if I see any interesting mod support/dedicated servers support

It'll be prettier on pc, and I prefer mouse control BUT I don't choose to keep up the money sink that is a gaming pc anymore.

No, PC GTA is going to be a hell hole. However I'm hoping most the true nut job killers do transfer so that it's more peaceful on PS4.

 

People are getting excited for more frame rate on PC but to me, I don't think it's going to run very well on PC. I say this because I've been left "online" when the rockstar servers went down and the game ran flawlessly and super fast on the ps4. The second the servers came back online I lost 5-10 frames a second before anyone even joined the lobby. I'm not sure what causes the framerate drop but it's nothing to do with the hardware. That's why I don't think the PC will be as good as people think, the network code is just in the can.

 

Plus it'll be modder heaven, you wont get 2 feet out of your apartment without a tank round firing minigun gets you from some invisible player on the other side of the map.

i'll be making the transfer to PC only to take high-res screenshots. GTA V has such potential for nice screenshots and you have more freedom with PC controls to get any shot you want. other than that, i'd be playing my regular 360 version though with friends who don't transfer to PC.

Yeah. I'll switch to PC once it comes out. I can bare 720p/30fps for only so long. Hopefully optimization will be as good as they say. And lets not forget to cross our fingers so that Online wont be 90% cheaters.
