I never seen and cheaters in DAYZ but I play on a server with like 25 players which only play the same server and we know all the other players. Its one of those servers where there are like 5 groups and we all try to find each other and steal/destroy their stuff

really? I have been playing payday 2 like non stop since October last year and I have encountered like 1 or 2 illegitimate players online

I haven't played CS in about 4-5 years, it's basically just all Russians hacking the living sh*t out of every match, needless to say I gave up on that and every once in a blue moon you get a hacker on DAY Z I was just saying case in point that every console/PC somewhere lies a hacker/modder but DAY Z was my jam I was obsessed with that game especially with all the ARMA/Epoch mods

I'm currently playing on PS4 but just grinding some online missions leveling up and saving money, i haven't done a single group mission which is preventing me from progressing along the online story.

 

All along i planned to do 100% on PC so making any kind of serious effort on the consoles felt like a waste of my time.

Oh yeah Im not saying they arent there. Im saying they are no where near as prevalent as people who dont even play PC seem to think. Just like PC players assuming all consolers are children, there are some kids but not everyone that plays consoles are kids

GTA IV was the sh*ttiest port to PC ever. Buildings disappearing, cars vanished. I did not have an uber gaming rig but still. I did play battlefield 2 on the PC and it became unplayable quickly because of all the hackers. Punkbuster or not. That losers paid real money for hacks to pump up their K/D ratio is beyond me.

 

Steam is supposed to be better. For now Now Gen is safe. Maybe I pick it out of the discount bin a few years from now.

Never in a million years. i upgraded from ps3 to ps4 when i completed story mode , the next gen will always out a pc game. rockstar are just appeasing the modders and the only ones who'll win are the rockstar $$$$.

Consoles for pure unhacked(ish) gaming. Its the natural order of life, simple.

Il be getting it on PC for sure, since that will be the BEST version of the game. But... not for maybe a year or so till the top of the lines mods come out.

 

 

I mean really.. PC modding is what makes old games so much better then console version. If modders start pumping out new areas.. new strippers, new apartments.. Im sold ASAP.

Cannot stand with cheaters, online modders and don't have time for tweaking drivers setup and that kind of thing. Also GTA IV i played all the time an xb360 controller on PC for driving, didn't get used to drive on keyboard. So I guess I'll stick to PS4.

 

Maybe someday I'll try the offline mode to test some mods like removing the speed cap. One thing i liked most was reaching 200mph with an Yamaha R1 around Liberty City. On 5 this could be a lot more interesting given the number of freeways available.

 

I only sincerely hope that Rockstar is capable of handling the ban hammer and punkbuster teams without any harm to the development team. They took a serious time to handle invincible glitches and other kind of trash on last gen, cannot be optimistic on a much more open architecture.

Eggs for heads and god mode are a old gen garbage mods.. That is not true modding. Thats preschool stuff.

 

Strippers being nude is just an example of things modders can do.. They can make the game better. Just like most games with good mods.

 

Modders work for R* btw. Heists is a MOD... You are currently waiting for a mod from R*. Just so you know...

After playing with the GTA public and reading so much about their behavior, I don't think modding will make the community better. A handful of nice modding maybe, but the majority of it will make the public lobbies sh*t.
