No. I don't have $2000 to spend on a pc.

You dont have to spend $2000 on a pc to be able to run gta -_-

No. I don't understand how to play stuff on computer. I can barely use Word.

I only play GTA and FIFA and my good old 360 is fine for that.

Yes. By the time that those 2 consoles arrive the PC would have advanced. New GPU's come out every 1 to 2 years and CPU's every 2 to 3.

My build a:

Intel Core i7 4790k over clocked at 4.5Ghz

Dual Sli GTX 980's

32Gb ram (will be upgrading to DDR4 16gb when more widely available)

and 4TB hard drives

makes any console look bad, and when newer stuff comes out i might upgrade. I don't need too, nor do i need a PC like this. I just choose to as a good PC is a long term investment. Games are only getting more demanding and a console can only do so much. they're designed to be a cheap(ish) way to play, not for 4K hi-res gaming (which i could do if i had a 4K monitor)

 

Plus Judging from the Pc requirements it looks to be a good port, with over a year to work on it as well it damn well better be.

The requirements should give an indication as to how good it is, AC unity had OTT requirements and we all know how that turned out for PC.

Nah. My laptop couldn't even handle Skyrim. I'll stick with the PS4 version.

Nope. Have the collectors edition on PS3. Bought a PS4 for GTA, bought the preorder PS4 game. They sucked me dry enough already.

Well it is not as easy as that when companies start handicapping the PC version because of the console versions :(

Show me something in those puny consoles that is really revolutionary, and youll find its always halfway trough the gen when devs actually know wtf are they doing with the platforms.

Basically you cant compare PCs and consoles like that, PCs are always evolving, while consoles need to wait 5-7 years periods in order to make jumps. It completely changes the way they relate to each other.

 

 

 

BTW yeah im switching to PC from my good ol' 360. Im hoping the Max Payne 3 port level of awesomeness here.

MP3 on the PC is god tier. considering the same team is dealing with the port of GTAV its going to be awesome

Nonsense, i swear the last gen version had two buffers and one rendered sub-720p. Also the game barely hits the 30fps.

 

They both ran at 25fps - 30fps. 360 even went over to 32fps or more.

I would but I don't have the money to buy a pc which can run gta even at the lowest settings. Only thing I have is a broken laptop that can't run Microsoft Word.

PC - 4K , 60>fps, mods, mouse and keyboard, controller support, anti aliasing, finger crossed for dedicated online server...

 

Don't forget cheaters + hackers. What's a good PC game without hackers? :facedesk:

I'm sure I'll end up buying it eventually but I'm in no rush. Better to give the mod scene time to mature and see what, if anything, might be done to make Online any different. Plus my current setup probably wouldn't look any better than it does on PS4.

It wont happen. With the leveling system and micro transactions do you really think Mods will be allowed in online mode on R* dedicated servers?

 

Mods to SP will be plentiful but I dont think there will be any in online

Hre in my country this is the price of a xbox one and a ps4,well,in the first days of arrival on brazil the ps4 was $4000 but later the price dropped to $2000,now the xbox one is a different thing,its only between $1500 and $1800,thats why the xbox 360/ps2 still rules very strong,only rich people buy a new gen here.

nope staying on ps4. even if I had a gaming PC I wouldn't really bother getting the PC version for at least 3-4 years, cheap on a steam sale. By then there'll be some really good mods.

people always try to put PC down by saying "muh hakers enjoy dealing with modders in every game waaah waah" which is totally bullsh*t.
PC has a much older and mature player base which is much less likely to cheat than the thousands of script kiddies on consoles. you are only likely to encounter cheaters or 'hackers'
on widely popular online games such as counter strike, which is to be expected on any gaming platform

plus a large amount of online games have VAC (valve anti cheat) on top of their own anti cheating system, which is highly effective and will often immediately ban accounts which it
detects having played illegitimately

Seeing everyone's specs make wanna invest in another rig again, it's been to long.

 

Spent my childhood taking apart/repairing computer's than in high school got Cisco certified for Hardware/Software repair and did networking and programming after high school. I miss being a geek sometimes haha
