$20000 per job? What solo job pays that? Most players complaining about money farm solo missions.

Besides how many jobs would it take to make a few million?

The people who complain the loudest are those who are broke because they never leave Free Mode.

I gotta admit I was pretty hyped when Rockstar announced their first crackdown on cheaters and seeing those billions getting removed. All those sad kids. Bring joy to my heart! Kidding...

On the flipside, it made the game a lot more enjoyable especially when the time based payout system came out. It was too easy to mash REPLAY on ROOFTOP RUMBLE and rake in $18,750 every 2 min 30 seconds. Now I do a variety of missions and other activities to make cash. The addition of the upcoming Heists will just make it even sweeter :)

Right?!? I hated RR, variety is the spice of life.

To people who say money in GTA Online is hard to earn, it currently has the best most balanced way to getting cash than ever... Money in real life even in the gang trade would never even match the money in GTA Online! Getting 20 grand a job a day!? Think about it.

In real life are masks 20,000+?

Do haircuts cost you thousands?

Do crappy outfits cost you over 10 grand?

Does makeup net you more than your annual salary out of pocket?

Do you see cars you'd never put money towards cause they suck, cost over 100,000?

Do random paint jobs cost over 20K cause they are a different shade of green?

Do crappy, little, garages cost over 30 grand?

I think the only realistic pricing in this game is the Supers.

I get what your saying, but the difference between a nice car and a show car is the $20K paint job (I'm talking about real life here). And property in this game is ridiculously cheap compared to real life LA prices.

Now cash is harder to earn it means it has a great value to it meaning that things really are expensive and really are valued if they are harder to earn. For instance whenever I see an Adder, I know 90% chances are they did it during the billionaire days back in 2013-14. Nowadays if you play legit I really appreciate seeing someone driving in a high end car. Especially when they play missions with me

Last time I checked it didnt cost $5000 to trim a braed irl? You cant compare GTAO to real life EVER! Therefore thread pointless

Go buy a PS2 and Ace Combat 5 and tell me how much time did you spent in order to unlock the sh*tty Wyvern or Falken.

It took me a MONTH to buy the Falken and TWO months to unlock the Wyvern. And a f*cking YEAR to get HALF the Bakugan and Cards in Bakugan Battle Brawlers.

Meanwhile I can easily make 90k just by doing three different survivals which can buy me everything I want.

Money is not hard to earn. It is, however, very time consuming and very boring. 9 hours for a legit mil? Translate that through cashcards, and you're. earning just over two bucks an hour.

Personally most games cost me around £20 so $2 an hour isnt bad, multiply that by 450 hours (around $900 or £650) n deduct £50 id say im about £600 in profit, by your maths of course

After all i play for fun not pay

You are sooo right!

If you can't enjoy the game for what it is and for you is just about getting your bank account bigger... maybe this game is not for you.

I like the new payout system a lot. If you do the missions for fun, do a little racing, steal a Baller each 45 min, etc... you will be surprised of how fast you got a good amount of money by just enjoying the game and having fun.

Of course, grinding specific missions was a faster way of making money, but lot less enjoyable.

Had a great night last night with a fellow GTAForum's member. We continuously playef missions at the voting menus and managed to bump me up from $5.5M to nearly $5.8M

In my opinion, money is very easy to get, I just earned over 20k doing Fueling The Flames, I generally make 18-25k on every missions i complete alone, I usually cycle through jobs on the voting screen after completing a mission, anyone who has trouble earning money is probably completing the mission too fast or too easily

If anyone wants to earn money, add me on PSN (PS4) same name as this one, jerry20xx, ranked 331 with over 6.5 mil from Missions, Survivals and Bounties only

Money is always a problem if you're a freemode roamer. I only have $1.8M in my bank at the moment from missions / survival, but hey I actually enjoy doing it. Just play it with friends and let the money grow.

Also, some people said that having loads of money takes away the fun in the game. Honestly, back in the billionaire days was my happiest moment in GTA. Blowing up everyone, wasting so much ammo without worrying about money, tank wars?! sh*t, that was what GTA is about! You hardly see people doing missions, free-mode was always full, there's always a crew war going on in every session. Oh man, now I feel kind of nostalgic. :D If only we could all have that again, I'd choose that anyday over grinding missions and earning peanuts lol.

All i gotta say for those broke folks is to get together with a money making team because your cash flow will double or even triple with them as opposed to doing it solo. I jumped in several millions just doing all kinds of stuff with many friends on here. And if not, then go take your broke ass home.

True, I am hoping to hit the eight figure sums soon... ten million baby! Jock Cranley and Devin Weston would be proud!

Pretty much this. I'm sitting on $14,000,000 until the next DLC drops. Still doing missions with friends. Fun fun fun.

So pay in a video game is much better then real life, we should be okay with that? How would you know what the "gang trade" makes? BTW off to Walmart, anyone want me to buy them a $25,000 horn? And after that I'm going to drop $50,000 for a turbo install.

Money isn't really hard to earn when you play lots of TDMs. I have 782k just from playing Missions and Team Deathmatches. That being said, it doesn't change the fact that everything in this game is overpriced as f*ck.

That's the strange thing. I have 105Dn/20Up and I rarely if ever get that screen.

These are really the only options to the problem

Your internet sucks (but you say it doesn't)

Your router/modem sucks

Your XBox is having isssues

Your using Wifi instead of being hardwired

Something wrong with your game

Or something is wrong with the servers (but I never lag out and get that screen).

Oh, and I graduated High School over 10 years ago, debate class is nothing but a far off memory.

Money is so easy to make if you just do a few missions every now-and-then. $200K is easy to come by in at least 20-25min.

OP, you dont respect me for driving sports cars? Ive always played legit, never glitched in GTA O, not gonna lie though, i tried to glitch a nemesis a friend owned before but i couldnt get it to work, so i just left it alone.

All in all, ive made around 30mil on my character strictly from doing contact missions, though i spend most of it on weapons and ammo/armor, and upgrading cars i like, only have 2.8m banked atm, havent played in weeeeks though.

Ive owned all the super cars, but have since gotten rid of them, due to how op they are, and the fact that its not even fun to drive a car that everyone and their brother is driving. Adders, entitiy's, and zentornos are for 12 year olds who cant learn to enjoy the multitudes of other cars in the game, cars that take skill to master, such as the Carbonizzare and many of the muscle cars, sedans, and SUVs. I have more respect for a person riding a sanchez than i do a person driving a supercar, due to the risk involved with riding on motorcycles, hit ANYTHING at high speed and there goes your armor and half your health - if you survive.

My favorite vehicles are as follows: Felon (4 door), Massacro Racecar, Carbonizzare, Roosevelt, Baller, Sanchez, Bobcat, Feltzer, Felon GT, Akuma, and my Vacca (which i dont consider a super - it handles like sh*t, and cant keep up with other supers)...ive got a few other cars, but those are just for sh*ts and giggles, the listed are my srsbsns vehicles.

Edit: forgot about the Sabre GT - best damn muscle car in my opinion - find one, upgrade it to max, and tell me its not better than a dominator...it just looks so sexy...

To people who say money in GTA Online is hard to earn, it currently has the best most balanced way to getting cash than ever... Money in real life even in the gang trade would never even match the money in GTA Online! Getting 20 grand a job a day!? Think about it.

So pay in a video game is much better then real life, we should be okay with that? How would you know what the "gang trade" makes? BTW off to Walmart, anyone want me to buy them a $25,000 horn? And after that I'm going to drop $50,000 for a turbo install.

I can tell you this much, how much money you make in the black market is largely up to how hard you hustle and who's your connect. The guy standing on the corner knocking off dime bags and dubs is only making a hundred or two a day if he's lucky. The guy moving zips can make a thousand or so if they are really moving. But once you move up to multiple pounds I can easily see someone making $20K a day. But that line of work is also "much" easier then what our characters have to do in the game. And this is only for drug trade. I'm not talking about pimpin', gun running, extortion, or any number of other elicit activities that happen in real life.

Just as an example, Cali weed is more valuable in other states then it is in Cali. In Texas a Cali p goes for $5,500-6,500 while you can pick one up in Cali for around $2,500. Move 7 of them an that is at least $20K.
