Vincen_tjared
My new lifestyle has taken me from an average (but very unsatisfying) 30 mpg to an efficient 55 mpg in the last year, and the 70 mpg mark is looming on the horizon.

iTRiP
1989 VW MKII GTi Customized. "iTRiP" At that time I drove it: R100.00 for 100Km worth of fun. I think the fuel price was about R5.00 a litre then, gave the car away almost for free when the fuel price hit R10.00 a litre.

Svip
I've been driving my 1998 Citroën Xantia Activa V6 a bit now, and while it cannot compete with my DS in fuel consumption, it still puts on a good show. I calculated urban travel to 9.7 km/l, motorways and rural travel to 10.5 km/l. But once I even managed 12.7 km/l! I am going to assume that was a bit of a fluke, so let's say it does 10.5 km/l. That's 9.5 l/100 km. Not bad for a 17 year old 3 litre V6. Of course, I've noticed my fuel consumption is 'ruined' when I drive a bit more on the fun side. Hehe. Hjortis
I get 6,4 Litres per 100km with my 2,0D Toyota. I have had it down on 5,3 on very economic driving, but I might be a bit too heavy on the right foot from time to time.

hvcciookay
If I drive like a tit, usually I get about 240 miles a tank or 17 mpg since my commutes are 90% highway. Constant 60-70mph, slow rolls from lights and stop signs and overall cruising, nets me 330-360 miles a tank or 25ish mpg. Also I feel like BP and Shell lasts longer for me vs other lesser known companies. Really want to use Chevron though if I can ever find a one. Hear nothing but positives from Chevron users new and or loyal.
Carlover325
Right now I'm averaging 13.4mpg in my 2015 Ram 1500 with 5.7L V8. It should get a little better as it gets more miles on it and the motor gets a little more broken in. Also, my commute is mostly city driving (I no longer work across the street from my house, work is 8 miles away now). So for now that is 13.4mpg (US), 16mpg (UK), and 17.5L/100km
