Ghost XB
In GTA Online you get RP and $ depending on how much time you spend on the mission. I think this is the sh*tiest system ever because it makes sense that a high rank player would finish a mission faster than a low ranked player. This also makes it harder for high ranked players to farm $ and RP since when you finish a mission in 5 minutes, you have to wait another 5 minutes till you can actually get a good payout. I think that R* should change it so that higher ranked players get more $ and RP than lower ranked players. Say a rank 20 gets $10,000 on a mission, a higher ranked player should get around $15,000. If they don't than they should lower the price for shark cards so that people can actually afford them (why would you ever pay $100 in real life to get $8 million dollars in game? ). FrugalDangerMan
Since the new cash/rp system I have ranked up faster and earned more cash than ever before. And I'm doing this on multiple missions. I've increased my wealth by over 10 million since the changes. More money for being higher ranks makes no sense. I think the cash/rp should be based on how much you contribute. If you die, kill other players or just stand at the start and let everyone else do all the work, you get 50% of the payout. If you kill more Enemy Npcs or defend a team mate then you get 10% more than standard payout. No bonus for killing the target or collecting/delivering the package to discourage team kills. RandallFlagg00
The new system was put in to try to stop people from farming. Now they pay much better. Before, some of Gerald's missions payed less than $2000. The only legitimate way to make money was farming goddamn rooftop rumble. 90% of the time you would start a quick job it would be rooftop rumble. There was one 2x $ weekend where all I did was play that mission. Like everyone else, I was completely bored by it after a few times, but like most everyone else, I kept doing it and doing it. People kept doing a mission they hate because the temptation is too much when it pays 5x more than anything else. Now they messed with the payouts to avoid that. So that you won't finish a mission in 5 mins and do it over and over and over. But even worse now is people killing time in missions because of it. Yesterday I was in a mission where the guy with the document got in a plane and flew around the map for almost 30 mins. Just for an extra 3-4k. I try to run missions with people I trust and if I run across a random who does crap like this I try to explain their flawed logic to them over the mic. Sometimes they pay attention, sometimes they don't. Positive side, if someone does this, it gives me time to sit back and enjoy my 18yr old single malt and a good cigar.....until my wife yells at me for smoking in the house again. Jammsbro
More cash because you are higher level? Two nights ago I was playing with my second character, only lvl 9 at the time. There was alvl 150+ guy there and he did next to nothing. A low skilled, high ranked idiot who contributed nothing to the mission. I killed 13 and he killed 1. Yet we by your system he would have earned more than me?
