TheMostKnowledgable
I'm going to go on a limb and it's not guaranteed to be correct, but heat could be an issue. You're gaming on a laptop, so heat is a big deal, and if your fans and/or power settings are set for other than performance, it may cause issues like this, where your hardware is being throttled (either by load and heat, or by the software throttles for performance vs quality settings) it is going slower and then causing the streamer to fall behind in GTA. Check your temps, or do you already notice it's getting really hot? It doesn't help much to say it, except for future reference, but a laptop is "unsupported hardware" at every vendor and publisher. For this kind of reason - it can be a capable machine, but power saving and other software optimizations for mobility are too hard to keep track of system to system, user to user. Not to mention that the cards on laptops are typically a few generations in power behind their desktop equivalents. All of those mods are definitely causing extra work to be done, so whatever the load or strain is that is causing things to break down, it's probably not helped (or possibly is even caused) by the mods. Why do you have an xbox controller mod? The game has native support. Do you have the latest patches installed? At the end of the day, the simple answer is "How does it run without mods and patched to latest?" - then we can investigate the issue if it persists further, but with mods and likely unpatched, it's hard to say what can cause it, or to single out hardware vs software issue.
