Official General
They already knew that many players want more interiors when they started with V. The lack of interiors in IV was criticized back then. You need to check your facts again. LC in IV had more interiors than LS in V. On topic, I was doing a little reading up on Saints Row 2, and it amazes me to know that this game has so many interiors (and many other extra good features) that it really puts V to shame. It's a pity that SR just can't be taken seriously enough as a decent contender to GTA, if it were on GTA's level, it would have left it by miles. pilscy, ClaudeSpeed1911, Zello and 2 others

Spaghetti Cat
There's a club in the old downtown called 'The Vault' which has music playing at night. I would like to see that or any club like Bahamma Mamas opened up. Gay Tony did a great job with the clubs and I'd like to see that returned. BTW 'The Vault' is about two blocks east from the downtown Ammunation. You can see it though the open parking lot across the street. Check it out, would be a great heist location also! Your're right, I still hold the view that LC in IV could have had more interiors. I really wished LC had the 247 stores to rob like V does. But LC still had a decent amount, it took me a while to discover that. Coupled with EFLC, it's quite a good amount of interiors in IV. But LC IV had a lot more interiors than LS in V, and that is something that Rockstar should be extremely ashamed of. Zello

Luckily for you, it seems like they're planning on opening up Bahama Mamas West sometime eventually, or using it for something at least. It wouldn't make sense for them to make the interior, add it in an update, and keep it locked forever. Spaghetti Cat and Einsteinbomb

Official General
@ Cake*Games I'm not talking about GTA V online (I don't care for online mode anyway). I'm talking about SP mode. In SP, LC in IV has more interiors than LS in V, and that is abysmal to say the least. A newer game with newer technology and a bigger map with less interiors ? seriously ? Rockstar are just so stupid sometimes, only God knows why. PS: I don't appreciated you completely modifying my quotes either. Quote me properly or not at all thanks. XIantonioIX
There are lots of places with interiors but not fully detailed (most likely scrapped during developing the game) like some gyms a grocery store and a hardware store i think ive seen quite a few. SCOOBASTEEB
11. Casino I personally could care less about casino. Gambling doesn't sound very intriguing. Only thing I can see myself doing there is a holdup. You could care less? I think you mean you couldn't care less... Makes your post seem pretty backwards. OT I think its the one thing that irritates me, GTAIV had so many interiors and yes many of them were copy and pasted but it made the city seem real. The most annoying part is that there are so many interiors that are used only once and then we cant see them again...
Krysalis
Correct me if im wrong but in GTA 4 the only interiors were fast food restaurants that drinking bar which GTA V has too, hospital, and museum enterable, i cant think of any more. In GTA V we have more safe houses, 24/7's like 20 of them all across the map, banks, police station (only one in LS sadly), two drinking bars but those are in Blaine County only, one strip club. There are strip clubs in 4 but thats it. Both have under ground terminal's, and many warehouses and other places too that arent marked on the map. Many interiors in 4 are wallbreaches only like in V. EFLC had more interiors than standard 4 as much as i know. I know V could have more potential places to enter, hopefuly in future with DLC's and story DLC's we'll have it. We need to be optimistic now.

We need to be optimistic now. We are comparing the main cities only in the two games, not the whole map. V has no drinking bar interior in LS. It only has a strip club for a night social setting interior and that's it. In IV by itself, there are NINE interiors for nightlife activities in LC alone. The Russian Cabaret, the two Irish drinking bars, a Jamaican Cafe/Bar, two strip clubs, two Superstar Cafe/Bars and there is also two adult entertainment dens. Eight of them in LC in IV, without EFLC, which still has more nightlife interiors in LC like the nightclubs in TBOGT. In V, the only nightlife interior in LS you could enter was one strip club. A meager ONE strip club. Compared to IV, interiors wise, it's no contest at all. How the hell can LS V be massively outperformed in interiors by LC in IV, which was 5 years older than it, by the time it came out ? Just what the f*ck were Rockstar thinking ? We will never know. I'm sorry, but there are no excuses in the world you could make for Rockstar on this, it's totally unacceptable. Oh you better believe it, the difference is quite big, I just proved it to you already. Not including Alderney, LC in IV has EIGHT nightlife interiors ALONE compared to just the ONE in LS in V, which is the strip club. And that's just nightlife interiors. Then there are the fast-food interiors in LC, that as we all know LS does not have. LS has the convenience stores, but LC still has the internet cafes, laundromat etc. And there is the rest like the hotel, museum, office block, apartments etc. It's no contest, LC was proved to have more interiors than LS on here a long time ago, you could have figured this out by just counting them in your head. Glad we can agree on the V's lack of interiors though.
pilscy
Ok back on topic. If they do add a DLC for the cafe's and clubs it would be super! lol. 13. Cool Beans - Pillbox hill 14. I guess rockstar is to busy making money of cash cards to even think about putting something like that in the game. 35. Beer and Wine - Rancho 36. Autoshop - Strawberry 37. Premium Deluxe Motor Sport - Pillbox hill ... Glad we can agree on the V's lack of interiors though. Where did I deny that LC has more interiors than LS? What I said is that the difference isn't that big between the amount of interiors of both cities. LS has three tattoo palours, nine clothing shops (LC has four), six gun stores (LC has two), instead of the four laundromats LS has five banks, instead of the hospital LS has the police station, instead of the six Burger Shots and two Cluckin' Bells LS has eight 24/7 stores. Sure, LC has the two internet cafes, two superstar cafes, the museum, hotel and the lawyer office but LS has the three terminal corridors at the airport and the Merryweather docks control room. There's a few more in both cities. Correct me if I'm wrong but LC has about 55-60 interiors, LS has a bit less than 50. That's not a big difference IMO. OT: This strip club was probably meant to be accessible, since people have found beta files of an unused strip club and Franklin spawns here sometimes when switching to him. Algonquin Assassin
Why do people care so much about this? It's a game based around driving around. The indoor stuff isn't really necessary. Well why do people care about having countryside in a GTA game? Are we playing a GTA game or a country bumpkin simulator? Why do people care about having a detailed ocean floor? Are we playing a GTA game or pretending to be James Cameron exploring ship wrecks? Obviously both of these questions are silly, but quite frankly so is yours. If the answer isn't obvious why people care about this stuff it's because it's highly relevent. Especially when GTA games are primarily based on urban environments. IMO it's an awesome feeling approaching a door and wondering if it'll swing open and it actually does then you're free to explore what's inside. For me personally interiors have fascinated me since they became more prominent in VC. They add so much depth to the city and give them a more realistic and believable feel. I hate how some games feel like their cities are mosly card board cut outs. Stephan90, ClaudeSpeed1911, SCOOBASTEEB and 1 other
