Rhapsody speed stat problem...

Recommended Posts

Top speed never changes for any car.

Stat bars are inaccurate anyways.

Broughy says otherwise according to his tests. If you watch his top speed exposed video he will talk about upgrades increasing top speed when he tests the top speed of the Sultan in the video.

Top speed increases when you upgrade a car with turbo, transmission and engine level etc... This explains why a fully upgraded Sultan would pull away from a stock Sultan. Not only does the acceleration improve but the top speed does as well.

All the speeds are off. Many of my cars list a top speed of 145mph, but according to the speedometer in the car the best any of them can do in practice is about 120mph - downhill and everything.

The fastest cars in the game which is the Adder and Z-Type can only reach a top speed of 125 mph fully upgraded.

I know this. I was referring to the stat bars.

Also, the speedometers are cosmetic only.

Oh my bad. I'm surprised people still believe the in-game stats. Are the stats in the game's code correct as well? I don't think the speedomoeter is correct as well because the fastest cars in the game (Adder and Z-Type) can only reach a top speed of 125 mph fully upgraded. The speedometer can show top speeds more than 130 mph.

Yeah I've gotten the speedos to almost 150 Online.

The code states a specific top speed for each car (same numbers that sssa in game says) but none of the cars can actually reach them, due to drag, weight, etc.

I saw the top speed of the Adder in the spreadsheet and it's listed as 160 mph. I'm sure that Rockstar can make the fastest cars hit at least 150-160 mph. You can reach those kind of speeds with wheeling motorcycles and it works.

I'm only talking about the speed bar that has 5 sections. Above acceleration, braking and traction. The stock one is say at 80% mine shows 70% or 3 1/2 bars. Again not noticing a difference in racing, appears to be cosmetic only. Just seeing if anyone else has noticed this. Sorry I made this unclear. Nothing to do with speedometer or performance.

Stat bars mean nothing, at all. Don't pay attention to them.

We went a bit off topic as I was replying to what Mach had said. We are aware of what you're saying. The stat bars are WRONG. The top speed of the car has not decreased don't worry.

Not so worried. Just looking for yes its happened, or no never heard of such a problem. Maybe I need a poll.

No need for a poll either mate. In your post you simply said the speed stat doesn't increase despite putting mods on it. You never asked us if we've experienced such a thing. But once again, the stats are a lie.

top speed does change with modifications in a sertain way, but it doesnt show on the stats

that being said, the shown stats in this game are crap, dont rely on them at all
