But that can't be right because in the game, the bridge's completion was expected in May 1998. Is this another error by R* they were obviously too indolent to catch? You kill Miguel in 1998, and he is the first character you ever see in GTAIII (intro cutscene). So its better to assume that things went in another direction than it happened, like Miguel was hospitalized after the shooting and got saved. Or that even though GTAIII mentions events of Manhunt in 2001, while the calendar in the reporter's apartment says 2003 in the game, you just have to use your imagination.. X/R// Posted February 22, 2015 Share Posted February 22, 2015 yeah i heard about that too. but atleast we hear the carcer city exist in gta3 / gta world and that feels a lot better than seeing the "see you in miami" billboard in everywhere. you might say that they havent decide the name of vice city yet, but hey, a crazy idea, original gta featured lc, vc and sa back in 1997.. i remember the times back in 2003 when people said that the next game will be named "sin city" and i was facepalming all the time. Jeansowaty Posted February 23, 2015 Share Posted February 23, 2015 Never heard of those theories, probably because I joined the GTA fan scene in 2008 I myself think that Manhunt's events are canon to the 3D Universe GTA's - not the HD ones.
