lil weasel
The game should (of course) be putting that save in the active folder for saves. Normally, START > User name > Documents > GTA San Andreas User Files Which game did you buy? The DVD or the STEAM registered Down Load? Which operating system do you have? khsh97
Do you see the real time(the time of your PC when you saved the game) after save file not present. Did you used any save file editor? Upload your save file to http://gtasnp.com Gtasnp.com will accept it. Post the link here so we can take look at your save file. OrionSR
Sometimes the game gets a bug up it's brain and it will lose track of where your user files are supposed to be located. Search for stray copies of gta_sa.set. IIRC, I've found mine in the SA program folder on occasion and once in a new user folder created off the root of the drive. I moved my files there and a day or so later the game started using the proper folder again - I have no idea why. The usual fix is to reinstall, and I remember seeing an old topic that described how to edit the registry or something to make the game use the proper folder.
