The following is a post I made at the rockstar support site. I would appreciate it if some of you guys here took a look at it and gave it some thought. Don't mind the typos.

 

Also if anyone here knows a better place to post the this little document so rockstar sees it, lets me know. If a moderator here believes this should be moved then go for it.

The following is a list of ideas I believe you guys at Rockstar could implement into gta online. Don't mind any typos..

Okay I have what I believe could be a of material to work with, so I’m going to try to divide this post into two or three sections. The first section will contain information about functions that could be provided in game. The second section will provide information about vehicles this game could feature. The last section will more or less be for miscellaneous items that should be considered. I can’t promise these sections won’t blend into each other at some point.

 

Functions

 

Ever since I began playing this game as a kid in Vice city and San Andreas(I suppose liberty city too), I was always hoping you guys would allow us to tow boats on trailers. In GTA5 you all decided to give us this freedom, however it could use some work.

The players in gta online would love the ability to take boats off of trailers and to actually be able to load them back on. I Imagine this might best be accomplished with a click of the directional pad when a boat is being steered/placed onto a trailer, the directional pad could be used to lock it in place. Finally, lets pretend I was driving out of my characters garage with a vehicle that came equipped with a trailer hitch, what if as I was driving out a window popped up asking if I would like to tow a purchased boat with this vehicle as well. Then I would be asking which boat to pick.Perhaps trailer hitches could be a los santos customs upgrade for more cars?

 

On the subject of towing it would be great if players could utilize the flat bed trucks, the packer trucks, and perhaps even the titan plane for loading vehicles. Perhaps this function could also be accomplished with the directional pad? Maybe we could make the flat beds and semi trucks such as the phantom purchasable from pegasus. On the same note, if players could get the actual tow truck back in gta online without having players freeze, we would love you guys.

 

This next part is going to be interesting because there is truly a lot of potential here.

What if the hangers at los santos international had a purpose besides just being an interior? What if after we purchased planes from pegasus the players could upgrade their planes at one of the hangers? For example the pilot crews(or any crew) would have the option of having their crew’s emblem placed on the vertical stabilizer of their airplane. Paints could be unlocked as well. The interiors of the planes themselves could be upgraded to suit the needs of the player. In order to unlock upgrades it could be as simple as winning points for doing air races.

 

With the same concept in mind boats could use the same tender loving care

. The winning sea races would unlock upgrades for you boats. Maybe some guy wants to spend $20000 dollars in gta cash to supercharge his already overpowered jet max. Maybe he can get his jet max retro-fitted to how it was in the old san andread or vice city. Maybe he wants to upgrade it hot pink so he can bring all the boys to the yard. Not dictating where the upgrades could be purchased but I’m thinking that the port of south los santos could use some love. This way you’re giving the map more function and more reason for the players to visit there.

In all seriousness this could be a very cool opportunity because with thought there could be a new mini-game here. Perhaps a player could by water skis for his boat so him and his buddies could go water skiing on the alamo sea. This would provide more reasons for players in lobbies to be on the water at all. Like darts or tennis this could be another cool mini game. Maybe the skis themselves could be customized. Cooler than skiing maybe player could go para-sailing off the back of a boat. In the mini game players could compete and knock each other out to be the last person skiing/sailing.

 

One last and very important item before we move onto vehicles. I need to lobby on behalf of my brothers and sisters in the extremely competitive combative gta piloting sub-culture. For several years now we have been getting by with our own little culture norms in gta4 and gta5. Currently in gta online our population applies the practice of merge-dogfights in order to test our skills and pride. We have also been getting by modifying capture modes and turning them into what we call jet tdms.

What our sub-culture really needs is a game mode for vehicle team-deathmatches and the ability to create them. Along with the option to turn on/off team balancing so the piloting clans/groups can compete with each other. There is a possibility that we represent the oldest sub-culture of gta players. You guys at rockstar would truly honor us having this request granted.

 

Vehicles

 

Now for the fun part, it’s a short section though so this shouldn’t be a long read. If rockstar would grant us with the following items in gta online we would be on our knees.

 

1. Bring back the faction from GTA4.

2. Bring back the tampa.

3. NRG 900?

4. Clean voodoo, we need it.

5. Not technically a vehicle but the ruiner would like to have back the hood vent it had in gta4. With the 450gt badge on it.

 

I have three ideas for some sweet boats. I had the names “HydroKing,” “Triumph,” and “Barracuda” all in mind though you fellas can use whatever names you want.

 

The “Hydroking” would be based off of the Hydrostream V-King. A small boat with a powerful punch.

The “Barracuda” would be based off of the Zr 48 Corvette boat. Calling this thing a beast wouldn’t come close to suiting it’s reputation. This vessel in real life is a bad*** M***er f***er. It sounds nasty and it performs how it sounds. Please consider bringing in a variant of this boat. Perhaps having it’s grand theft auto pedigree coming from the coquette.

The last boat the “triumph” would be rockstar’s version of the “miss geico” turbine racing boat. This monster packs about 4000horsepower? Need I say more?

 

This is pretty much the end of this post and this is also where I thank you guys and girls at rockstar for the things you’ve all done. First off I’d like to call out this guy you have at customer service. He told me his name was jonathan and I talked to him a couple days ago when he told me where I should post this. When I called the rockstar support number I kid you not it was only five seconds or even less after dialing that I was speaking with him. Sounds like an awesome guy. Great customer service and great reaction time.

I would also like the thank rockstar for not making the same game destroying mistake that activision made with destiny.. I didn’t realise how important those cash cards were to you guys until I heard what happened with destiny. You all made the correct call and trust me maybe not all the players know it yet but we are so happy you all did.

 

Please if you guys would just consider every detail I put into this post. I hope you all realise what sort of currently untapped potentially you all are working with.

Not that all youre ideas are that bad but yea, overall....not the best wishlist tread i have seen thats for sure
