Suggestion For Pegasus Vehicles

I posted this idea in the Rockstar Support section earlier this month. What is y'alls opinions and or suggestions for my idea? It's probably not the best idea for GTA Online but since a lot of people seemed to want a feature like this in the game, I figured I'd post my suggestion for it.

"As we all know, their are multiple color schemes for most of the Pegasus Vehicles when they spawn after you call for whichever Pegasus Vehicle that you want. My suggestion is to add the ability for us to choose which color that we want the Pegasus Vehicle to spawn with.

How I suggest for said feature to be implemented, is by having two options appear in the phone when you call Pegasus. First option being "Set Vehicle Color" and the second option being the standard, "Request Pegasus Vehicle."

When you select the "Set Vehicle Color" option, a menu will appear on the top left of your screen, just like it normally does. Then a list of each class of Pegasus Vehicles, that you own, will appear. Once you select the class of vehicle that you want, it will then show a list of all the vehicles that are in that class, that you own. You will then be able to select whichever vehicle that you want to change the color for. Once you set the color, that vehicle will always spawn with that color.

For convience, you will also be able to change the colors of multiple vehicles, within the menu, without having to call Pegasus each time you want to change one of your Pegasus Vehicle's color all in one sitting if you choose to do so.

Once you are done choosing the color or color's of multiple Pegasus Vehicles, you will then have to go back to the list of classes and then scroll all the way down to the bottom, of said list, to select "Accept" and then it will close out the menu and you will then be free to request the Pegasus Vehicle that you had changed the color for, or just any of the other Pegasus Vehicle's that you own."

Feel free to suggest anything you'd change and or improve upon in regards to my suggestion.

EDIT: After thinking about it more after I read others responses and suggestions for my idea, I have to agree that the way that I'd originally suggested would be complicated and inconvenient.

I would be against this idea for one main reason. I don't want to be trying to drive (possibly while being chased/ having to shoot), scrolling through my list of Pegasus vehicles, and THEN having to select a color option too for my Buzzard or other vehicle while trying not to crash.

Personally, I would MUCH rather be able to restrict access to my Pegasus vehicle (like we can with personal vehicles) rather than be able to change the color of my vehicle.

Wouldn't it just be easier to have you request the vehicle and then select the colour scheme....

Calling for the vehicle and then when you choose what vehicle you want, it'll give you the option to choose the color before it spawns?

Why didn't I think of that...

Well surely Rockstar could implement an option to disable or enable the ability to choose the color of a Pegasus vehicle? For those of us who want to have a hot pink frogger spawn, would have the ability to. Where as the people who don't have interest in choosing the color of our Pegasus vehicles, wouldn't have to worry about a menu appearing for when you called for your Pegasus vehicle. I know it's a small and kind of pointless feature if it ever got implemented but it would give us more control over the color of our Pegasus vehicles if we choose to use the feature.

That or just calling up, selecting the vehicle then the second step would be selecting its colour, then it would show up on the map.

That's definitely an easier and a lot simpler suggestion compared to mine. If Rockstar adds this feature, I hope it'll function like how you suggested.

I want to be able to select the colour scheme of my Peggy vehicles but not if it means extra menu selections to make while I'm trying to play. Why not add a My Account section to the in-game Pegasus website where you can select the finish for any vehicle you're eligible to call and have it be remembered until you decide to change it?

You know what I would be in favour of though? Combining your idea with the idea in the other Pegasus vehicle thread I read today. Have the ability to arrange your Pegasus vehicles to your liking, and then be able to set the livery/color of your vehicle. That way you would be able to change colors easily on your vehicles, and you wouldn't have to worry about completing an extra step on your phone during the heat of battle/driving.

Will do. Thanks everyone who showed me the errors of my suggestion to help come up with a more simpler and less of a inconvenient way for this idea to be implemented into GTA Online if Rockstar adds this into GTA Online.

Here's my idea on how the system would work. You would call Pegasus and either scroll up once (or scroll all the way to the bottom) on your vehicle list. You would see an option for Pegasus Management, and then you would have the option to "Arrange Vehicles" or "Customize". If you click on "Arrange Vehicles", then a simple text list would pop-up where you'd first select the vehicle that you want to transfer and then select the vehicle slot that you want to transfer it too. The "Customize" option would have a text list of vehicles, and once a vehicle was selected you'd have a list of colors/liveries to choose from. Once you had everything set to your liking, then you could call Pegasus & select your customised vehicle from a well organized list. Your list & choices would stay set from session to session unless you go back into your phone and change them (which you would have the ability to do at any time).

You should post that in the other Pegasus thread. I could see your suggestion actually work just fine in GTA Online. You should also send that to Rockstargames Dev's too. It's kind of like how we can go into the interaction menu to customize our parachutes except it'll be with the Pegasus vehicles.
