Young boy gets trolled through psn shareplay has files deleted

has anybody else heard of the young boy who was trolled on destiny while shareplaying? he passed his controller to a troll through shareplay and they deleted all of his high level characters, he can be seen crying in the video on youtube, so do you trust other to shareplay games on your account?

I can see some squeaker letting someone shareplay their GTA char to perform the "latest glitch" and coming back to find everything gone.
