GTA SA's radio stations where the thing that made the game unforgettable for me. It's soundtrack was outstanding.

Radio X. Pure gold.

I love that guy from K-DST The Dust when he concludes the commercial with " who cares about the listeners anyway ? "

I honestly feel like what V did way better than San Andreas (apart fromthe obvious like map size, graphics, ect.) is the ability to save cars and keep them in garages safely (well, atleast Online). If San Andreas had a system to keep your modified cars safe, say when you did a mission or wondered off, then it would've been perfect.

Other than that, I could still get lost in SA.

Maybe someone who isn't a graphics whore and doesn't see the appeal by wasting money over a GPU than easily upgrade the base game with the fantastic modding potential.

I like the SA graphics. They are visually so much relaxing and pleasing to not get tired. It serves well enough to distinguish, the boring realism from the beauty of playing the "video game" which may not be experienced in real world.

The gameplay is certainly the most appealing factor of the masterpiece GTA SA but even the graphics are so nice looking too. V sucks big time onthe former IMO. And, I don't give two sh*ts about V graphics. For me, its gameplay over graphics.

I just wish that the character models, general AI, ridiculous drivers on highways, and police spawning was better with GTA SA. Otherwise, it beats V easily with no efforts.

In SA people get in and out of vehicles, park in driveways and parking bays. Why couldn`t a simple thing like that have been implemented in V? Sure, a helicopter will land and the pilot will leave the cockpit, but not drivers of cars, they just drive forever without a purpose.

You gotta be kidding. Try better next time!

It seems you've not had the opportunity to play V enough. I can't count the number of times seeing peds getting in and out of cars, in driveways and inside parking lots. I just saw a girl parking her car inside a parking lot and then she went to the ATM machine.

I also don't see why people are bashing on V for being too shallow. I mean, look around you. What do you see? Life. The amount of detail and work is simply astonishing. You can get into someone's property and you'll see them get mad at you after they were interrupted from the chat they were having besides their pool with their friends, or you can start up a conversation with some random person on the street and see how they respond to you, you can shoot someone and see them aimlessly waving their gun at you while miserably laying on their tummy, saying their last words right after, you can plow a cow into someone's car with a bulldozer, you can push construction workers off of high construction site floors. The possibilities are endless, and the immersion increases them. San Andreas was incredibly rich and detailed for its time, and it's richer even than some current gen games (*cough* Watch Dogs *cough*), but when you aren't playing a submission or a main mission it just feels empty. Sure, you can go on a rampage and kill people with dildos or whatever the f*ck your brain comes up with, but you'll never get reactions that are as lifelike as GTA 5's. Hell, people in GTA 5 can report you to the police, film you with their phones and send their videos to news agencies that are going to show the very footage the witnesses took of you committing the crime ON THE GAME'S TV. How the f*ck does San Andreas even begin to compete with that?

Uhhh.....maybe it can't compete on a technical level because it came out 10 years ago?

When people say V is shallow, they mean that the protagonisits' relationships aren't fleshed out(Michael-Frank, TPI etc) and the side characters have paper thin personalities. Also, that the antags are weak. And that the story starts in a pathetic way. And the protags have little character development.

They don't mean it's shallow on a tech scale.

I can't count the hours of fun I had in the old San Andreas. The first two days I got the game I did not even do the missions. I just roamed the city and it was so much fun lol. I loved the Radio Stations, the Story, the whole gang stuff, the myths and stuff hidden in the game. Whether they were true or not: searching for Leatherface or Big Foot was always fun lol. But the best part about the game was the main character in my oppinion and the possibility to roam around multiply cities. It never got boring. If it got boring mods or SAMP/MTA kept me playing. Damn that just made me miss the old days when I came home from school, turned on my PC and played the game the whole day.

GTA SA is more fun because:

-It has 3 cities in one state with bunch of easter eggs, while the HD Universe Series never featured 2 city in one state

-There's so massive things to do, not just 100+ story mission, but also vigilante, paramedic, etc. Dancing on club, play on casino, play pool, go to GYM and many other things that GTA V not have.

-Modding community has been rising and very familiar until now, moreover that ENB Series, Cleo, Skins, and many other mod will bring some new experience in the game, it also more varied categories than HD Universe Series, because it's more easier to do.

-It's good alternative game for low end PC/Laptops if you can't play the HD Universe Series, and don't worry, you can add some mods to make the game more similar to HD Universe Series.

-The Story is very memorable. Remember the line ''follow that d*mn train'' or ''straight busta''? Remember when Big Smoke order bunch of food in Cluckin' Bell for himself? And there's still so many fun acts.

-It has some elements that HD Universe Series don't have, such as Jetpack and Amphibious Helicopter.

-You can do some hilarious things like:

1. Go with jetpack and land on top of the San Fierro's Monorail then start causing chaos with your weapons without falling off.

2. Jump on top of someone's car then smash it until it explode.

3. Explore the underworld using jetpack while in GYM's Interior (search google for tricks) and let's see if you can found the Liberty City without any tutorial.

4. Create chaos, get 6 stars then go to Area 69 to steal Hydra, after that, fight off the enemy Hydra without using flare and see how long you can survive.

That's my opinion and GTA SA is still one of legendary 3D Universe Series :r*:.

Well, many people here seem to be talking more about the gameplay than the story. Well, ye, San Andreas had some pretty charming characters even though parts of the story don't make sense.

GTA SA is more fun because:

-It has 3 cities in one state with bunch of easter eggs, while the HD Universe Series never featured 2 city in one state

Although GTA IV featured two cities in two different states. Liberty City in New Liberty, and Alderney City in New Alderney. :)

I had more fun with SanAndreas, but i still love GTA 5. The deatils, the gameplay, the graphics, it is just amazing!

SanAndreas just had more golden moments and i used to talk about the gameplay and te story a lot with my old school mates. Good old times.

I ALSO remember watching some 240p GTA SanAndreas stunt videos on google videos in 2006

Stuff like this happens very rarely in GTA 5 (usually a player has to cause it).

Absolutely! GTA SA felt a lot random and quite unpredictable. It was also quote hilarious to watch them shooting including the cops who crash into them so fast, and hard like being pulled by some magnet, leading to some big chaos and a lot of funny situations.

In SA, you can even do a valet job or a pimping job or a pizza job or a truck driving job anytime you want and there are a thousand ways to make money, a thousand ways to spend money and reasons to spend money, like certain clothes and haircuts to raise your "sex appeal" stat with different girls and also you have to work out or get fat or skinny to be liked by some girls, who then give you special vehicles (and more.) SA had it all. In V, there are no ways to earn money after the story, and even if you could increase your bank there`s nothing to spend the money on just as there`s nothing to do. No reason to buy anything... no reason to play at all really.

The main point I`m trying to make is, there aren`t any infinitely generated side-missions, which not only just existed in SA but were fun to do and useful in terms of getting money for clothes, accessories, car mods, property etc.
