Vertighost Posted February 21, 2015 Share Posted February 21, 2015 So I've tried to take down the high flying jumbo jets and they seem immune to damage, even with Explosive (bang bang) cheat on from close range parachuting...no response. Is there a way to take them down without a collision? Do I have to aim for the Engines? (I mean Planes in flight and not from the airport) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Vertighost Posted February 21, 2015 Author Share Posted February 21, 2015 Not from the ground...I was right on top of one parachuting In slow motion, I fired many accurate rounds into the fuselage and wings with Explosive Bullets cheat on and nothing at all happened it was like it was immune. I also know that even from the ground they can sometimes be in range of a Sniper (some fly abnormally low) I have tested it's range from the highest Skyscraper and crane in LS, shooting cars/bikers from many miles away (as far as where the ground isn't solid and the cars, and bikes fall through the ground), I have also tried to shoot the planes from atop the highest points and nothing. I'ld like to know It's possible with non vehicular weaponry or kamikaze tactics. I haven't checked out the new Missile Launcher will have to see if that does anything. To be more specific, the planes that spawn in the sky in current gen, already in flight, that never land or take off. Octane Posted February 21, 2015 Share Posted February 21, 2015 If you use the Homing Launcher, which has a very long range (can shoot down a blimp on the other side of town just standing at the helipad near the beach), if you're super duper duper duper duper duper duper duper duper duper duper duper duper duper duper duper duper duper duper duper lucky, you can freeaim and shoot it down while it's flying. The guy's reaction is brilliant - the way he flinches when the plane hits him (like it's really going to hurt) and then total shock when he sees he's brought down the jumbo.
