Seeyiyay
Just as the title implies. So I want to replace the Hakumai with a different vehicle, so I chose this since there isn't a third generation Honda Accord mod, the car it resembles the most. I figured a boxy European car would suffice. Even if it existed, I doubt it would've fixed this issue. http://www.gta4-mods.com/vehicles/lada-2114-vaz-2114-f11944 The Hakumai is the only car in GTA4 to have headlamps that pop up and down when in use. When I go and turn on the lights in my "Hakumai", the rear quarter window rotates, presumably thinking that's supposed to be the headlamps. I've edited all of the files accordingly, but I can't seem to find how to force the game into not propping the "headlamps" up when I turn my lights on. Does anyone have an idea what I should edit? Here is how the car looks, to give you an idea. http://imgur.com/J7wsquF,Qga4PGz,ucA1VzI,3EUbPup Also, a minor issue, but the license plate doesn't seem like it wants to come up. Any fixes for that? Thanks in advance.
Tycek
One does not simply replace Hakumai with different car. You had been punished for doing such thing. Seriously tho, ask mod (via report) to move your thread here http://gtaforums.com/forum/331-gta-v-gta-iv/ You will very likely get better and more accurate answer from people who are making similar mods. gunziness and unbid

Many vehicles I have downloaded in the past have been much the same.
unbid
You replaced The Almighty Hakumai with that thing? You should be lucky those are your only punishment! LOL JK Aside from that wrath of The Almighty, have you tried replace other cars that doesn't have flip headlights attribute with that Russian machine of yours (especially with the one that the mod creator recommend you to replace)? If that "rear quarter window rotates" problem still exist when you replace that with other car then that's the mod problem. I used to mod my Hakumai with a Mercury Tracer and it doesn't cause any problem. About the license plates problem, I'll go with Phill's answer; it's an extra. Seeyiyay
Hey, sorry for the late response. I only chose the Lada because I want to keep the replacement vehicles as close to their in-game counterparts as possible, and there is no conversion of a boxy Japanese four-door from the 90s. So a boxy Russian four-door would be good enough. So I replaced the Primo with the Lada, and that didn't have the issue, likely because the Hakumai is the only car in IV with flip lights. I tried looking for Hakumai replacements, which also included another Lada, and that too had the same problem. Other Hakumai replacements included modern rounded cars, often two doors, which goes against what I want. So I guess some file editing would be in order. And I apologize, but how would I go about fixing the license plates? Is that like a line I add to the end of a vehicle's .ide line or something? I looked at the textures, and it doesn't seem to have plates to begin with, despite the demonstration pictures. Thanks again.

Sorry for the late response, try adding in this to the end of the .ide line '+ext_requi' without the quotation marks.
