LightningLord
Hello. I'm not sure if this has been asked before, but what's with this site and loading? At times, I click things like my PM box, a subforum, etc., and it doesn't load. The web browser just sits there loading indefinitely. After a while, it either times out or the web browser closes. It happens to me about 20%-50% of the time. It doesn't matter if I use my laptop, my phone, school computer, etc., and using my home WiFi, phone cellular data, school WiFi, etc. doesn't change a thing. What's causing this? Pavle
I have the same problem, and it really is annoying sometimes.
Sentrion
I've not been facing any such problems. Maybe it's with some regions. Or, do you get any of those Cloudfare errors?
Andreaz1
Yep I've had the same problem though not as often as LightningLord or pajkosinjo it seems. CloudFare errors are very rare for me at least, they seem unrelated.
PhillBellic
At least in my case sometimes it 'hangs' for a minute when refreshing or loading a new page.

TJGM
Yeah, I'm getting a lot of hang times recently. It's happened a lot over the past few months or so, but recently it seems to be extremely often.
LightningLord
So it's not just me then. But what's causing this?
S0lo
Yeah, lately it's been really annoying. I just switched over to IE(!) cause i thought it might be Chrome that has an issue, but i encounter the same issue on IE too now. Pretty much upon every reload the site becomes unresponsive for 10-20 seconds, sometimes it stays tha way. On Chrome i'd always get a blank page symbol at the beginning of the address bar, instead of the GTAforums symbol and i'd have to hover over "Notifications" for it to switch to the GTAForums symbol and at least become somewhat responsive again. Along with this i am experiencing severly choppy scrolling, making scanning through threads extremely annoying, up to a point where i often feel like smashing my keyboard. uNi
The host is serving more users lately, we're trying to improve the loading times.
S0lo
Uhm, instead of opening a new thread for it, here's another thing that is happening to me right now: Quotes stopped working. When i quote, it just moves me down to the reply field, without a quote. And even stranger, i can't copy text and then paste it in. Now, it might be an IE thing cause i just switched to it as mentioned above, but in that case, is there a known fix/workaround? Edit: in case it is an IE thing then it is limited to GTAF. Just tried copy/pasting on google and it worked just fine. Edited February 21, 2015 by King S0lo
Andreaz1
It is a well known IE issue and as far as I know there's no fix for it yet. You need to use another browser for things to work properly.
CrysisAverted
Getting the same here.
S0lo
Damn, sorry guys, figured this out a week ago. The problem is caused by multiple versions of Shockwave conflicting. Both Chrome and FF, and i think IE as well, now have add-ons that integrate Shockwave directly in to the browser. That is nice, but for one, almost no one knows about itm and even if they did, no one told them the'd have to remove the native Shockwave from their System. It's basically pet peeves of an industry shifting from programs to apps. Remove either and you should be golden.
