Dude nothing is going to happen. It was a time when some players had numbers all the way across their tv screens. Im talkin kazillions gazillions of dollars. 20 million is not too much. If you are on ps3 xbox360 this will probrobly happen agiain. If youre on ps4 xbox1 just dont go on a crazy spending spree and bank it slowly just incase they have cheater algorithms in the server(just a rumor).

To the OP. I would do as other's have said. Buy a 10-car garage full of adders with your 2nd character. Then at a later date when you are low on cash, sell an adder.

i just been given money from a hacker as i was afk and im worried that rockstar will ban me and take all my money away. i got over 20million between my 2 characters. i wanna tell them just incase they do take all my money cos i was given it on my second character lvl 48 has earned 2 million through jobs over 7 million through car sells( that what im also worried about that if i were to tell them what happened 2day and will see that i earned 7 million through car sells so they will know i have been glitching.) i got around 3 million 2day by the hacker

Don't rat to R* haha just blow whatever the modder dropped on you on frivolous things and you'll be fine brother! Think of it as a quarterly bonus!

 

This the worst that happens is they'll remove what was added, which is what I heard happens some of the time, but more likely than not you'll be fine just buy stuff you've been wanting if you haven't got it already and have some fun with it.

I intended to launder mine but spaced. R*'s quick though, after logging back on a few hours later, it was gone.

 

I do know the I lost the freakin' $ I spent restocking all of the ammo I lost when the hacker erased my weapon wheel. I was kinda irked but makin' cash isn't that hard anymore so, meh.

 

Personally, I find it highly unlikely that R* would ban the recipient dirty hacker money. Maybe If it happens to you on a suspicious basis or something.

There's anti - cheating triggers that may get you for gaining that much that fast but dont worry about an across the board money wipe

Buy Adders, keep a lot of cash in hand on a character you don't use. Buy other things you want as well.
