So long as R* is making money on Shark Cards they will never create an easy/fast way to make in-game money.

That is why they patch money glitches faster than anything. It affects their actual bottom line.

If the heist pays out 500,000 after an hour of team play, that's really no better than current mission cash per minute per person.

Whatever the cash payout is, it will be offset by expenses and time.

For the community that R* really cares about (shark card consumers) every thing in the game has an actual cash value.

If you are a $100 shark card consumer, you spend 0.01$ USD cent for every 800 shark bucks.

Blowing up an Adder? that costs you (and potentially earns R*) $0.15 USD.

For the $10 card consumers those numbers are 1 cent for 500 shark bucks.

An Adder costs about 25 cents.

Tiger Shark consumers pay 30 cents to blow up an Adder.

If the example you described fits you (ie. blowing up personal Adders in free roam), then that's the reason you're always broke... not because of anything R* has done LOL. It's so easy now to make money as long you're not a "free roam Rambo type" it's not even funny. Anyone remember back in the day when doing a Simeon mission might cover the cost of your ammo/armor & maybe give you a few $100 profit if you were lucky LOL? Talk about hard times!

If R* implements heists right, then they'll end up making a LOT more money off of game sales than they would off of shark card sales. Hopefully they make the heists progressively more difficult (with increasing payouts), and make the final heist be challenging for even a full team of experienced players (Note to R*, this does NOT mean justing adding infinitely spawning enemies LOL).

I don't really care if we make more moolah or not. I'd just be happy to actually have some new jobs to get involved in and of course, all that tasty new hardware to play with. OP's a mathematical genius! So glad he taught me how shark cards work : )

None of us are going to get rich farming the missions we have now so I like the idea of getting new jobs that will inevitably pay a bit more than the ones currently available.

I don't even care so much about getting rich, I can do that by what I am doing now. I can already afford everything I need, unless they release some must have content. I want Heists for the missions and action and thought and planning. If you only want to play Heists to get $$$, then you are missing what will make Heists special. A cool thing about GTA Online is that you can play the game your way. I try and get the most out of different aspects of the game, some just want to make millions. To each his/her own I guess.

None of us know what the pay outs will be. So none of us can say anything about them right now.

Well, we know 2 of the payouts from the trailer.

They could change though if they are variable I guess.

I'm already rich. My job as Heist leader is to ensure my crew gets rich.

Exactly! Being rich has its perks. I mostly see it like this:

I never noticed any payout in the trailer. I'll have to go watch it again.

Edit: just say the white board where it says $670,000 and $550,000

Guess it looks likes most of us that play legit and don't want to spend the real cash for the fake cash will be disappointed.

I was setting expectations, not complaining. I have several million in the bank.

If you are not a shark card consumer, then you have to convert the game currency to time. If you can average $3000 R* bucks per minute, then blowing up an Adder costs you 4 minutes of grinding.

I selected Adder as a point of reference.

It's about the teamwork for me.

Yep, I can already solo every mission on Hard difficulty with relative ease. I'm looking forward to actually having to communicate and use strategy with my friends instead of just coming up with crazy ways to finish missions I could do in my sleep LOL.

As somebody who only wakes up to sh*t, jack off and play GTAO, this is a topic of grave import

technically any payout, is a good payout, lets just hope its worth it, im sure some of you heard that the way, or amount you get also judged on how well you perform,(ranked like SP Missions), then you have to look at, the leader of the host gets the bigger pay since(they forked a bit of their money to fund it), and then the heist members(basicly you, leader, unless you are the leader, and the other people joining it)

basically, perfection turns into more $(than being clumsy about it)

lets just hope that it works to our favor, if completing the mission flawlessly is worth more than the effort

wasnt this already known like for years(well....atleast for months) there woud be a cooling down period and heists are not gonna pay milions overall ?

seriously, yes, in the end the money/time ratio is not gonna be awsome, but who the f*ck expects that ?

we all know those cash cards need to sell :)
