Should the Explosive Rifle be in GTA Online?

It would be a Free Mode only weapon of course...

 

Anyone miss blowing up someone to bits in Red Dead Redemption?

 

To make it fair it wouldn't be purchasable in Ammu-Nation. Instead, if you complete a Gang Attack (not every one but a specific random one that you wouldn't know about) the Explosive Rifle will only be available in a crate. Here's the catch though... (The Gang Attack must be completed with a 'Headshot' kill on all enemies to earn it and once you do they'll be a "Claim your Prize" notification on the feed and you go to collect it).

 

*The Explosive Rifle would only have 4 rounds so use them wisely*

No. Make it purchasable from Ammunation and let it have 9999 rounds so we can see how many people will complain about it.

No... We already have enough troll problems in FM, without giving them access to the Railgun... If R* wanted to add a "one shot, one kill" rifle, they would have already done so when coding in the power of the M82... But instead, they nerfed it because kiddies were bitching.

Coming from a free roaming citizen's perspective, I'd say, yup, I could get with that. Except maybe put it in crate drops because other than the "special crates", crate hunting doesn't have much of an in incentive. A cool weapon would spice things up.

 

But at the same time, it would just be another thing to complain about and then be patched... So I say why bother lol. We alredy have RPGs, and I can do enough damage with them lol.

Probably a 99% chance anything R* add will not be Level Locked. Update Content is not level locked because:

 

1. R* want more people to spend money each Update so more people need to play the game to earn $GTA in the future.

2. So people do not complain they can only get 1 or 2 Items in an Update.

 

If R* would finally add some more Level Locked Content after nearly 17 months of GTA Online, I would say Yes to more additions such as this, otherwise No.

There'd be one use for an explosive rifle, a jet flying low past you, or diving in to strafe with it's explosive rounds. Either blow it up or severely damage it with the explosive rifle. I'm talking where it looks like a burning marshmallow flying through the air.

isn't the railgun basically an explosive rifle? granted the "explosion" radius is pretty small. should just bring that to online, but they won't because such a powerful weapon would be exclusive to those who upgraded, and they already have a massive advantage over those starting on PS4/xbone/PC
