I've been wanting a Hippy/Summer of Love update. Give us a bunch of cool vehicles from the 50's-60's (California Beetle, Mustang, Nova, Chevy Panel Truck, 64 Impala, Chevy Van w/ the bubble window, etc).

No because I would rather a good dlc than a waste of dlc. We already have the hipster update. Thats close enough.

And what would be a quality update? A bunch of stuff from WWI and WWII, sounds "hipster" to me, too.

Items from the 20-40's are just as much "hipster" as items from the 50-60's.

In what way? Old WW items reflect on the past and what the vets did for our country. Hippie sh*t is just like reflecting on a bunch of long haired hippies smoking weed doing sh*t all.

 

 

You truly are an idiot. Running around with a digital M1, killing each other, does not honor our veterans. And many of those "useless" pot smoking hippies became the leaders of today's business and technologies.

you left out drug trafficking, which takes place a LOT in this game.

you left out drug trafficking, which takes place a LOT in this game.

Also that era saw the rise of motorcycle gangs, most notable, the Hells Angels.

I'm expecting a whole new set of obscene gestures. :p

 

There needs to be a "Touch Your Toes" action or "Drop The Soap" action to accompany all of the air thrusting and jerking.

Quite frankly it doesn't make sense to have only half of the act; players need a way of recieving the actions used upon them.

It's the right thing to do, right?

:^: Right. In an ironic case of reverse technology transfer, Rockstar could adopt the rape mod as a "Verified Gesture" and make it a win-win for everyone.

 

And on the subject, as I said in some other thread, if Rockstar would release a "Fifty Shades of Chrome" DLC, they could pick up several million new female gamers. :p In context of our friend Trevor, I saw in a tweet today "Fifty shades of grey is romantic only because the guy is a billionaire. If he was living in a trailer it would be a Criminal minds episode."

 

And just to head off any replies from critics. all of the above is stated in context of the snarky humor intended in the OP, to illuminate the tacky taste and poor decisions that Rockstar is already making in the GTAV / GTA0 game design. It's not meant to be a wishlist.

 

1.) I think you mean "Chains Of Intimacy" DLC

2.) I think you mean Update lol...

3.) that'd be enough to make me get a shark card, but I hafta ask: what kindsa content could they possibly include in such an update?

to help you guys find some common ground...The World War update would be ok if it was a handful of vintage but not underpowered weapons like the M1, Stick-grenades etc and more importantly a couple of vehicles like an armoured car, open topped Jeep, vintage tank and most important: Rustler (prop plane with mounted MG)
As for a Hippy/Post war update: tie die shirts, loon pants, platform shoes, big long hair - maybe not as many of those cars for my taste but add a few similar era cars from europe like Weeny Tommy etc would be pretty cool all in all.
I predict more likely a 'Cloak and Swagger' update - heard it here first.

I bet, the reason R* changed the 'Hide the blip' system was because people typed emails suggesting the changes to their support site.

Which is what R* has asked from the public/fans to do.

You can call it 'whining, complaing, bitching'...etc.

But the very fact of somebody making the effort to give feedback, is better and more productive then saying nothing and having a 'whinge at whingers'.

Also, it shows that they care more about this videogame cause they can obviously see the potential that it could one day be.

If they add some stupid "The Namaste Update" with yoga pants and mala beads, fruit salad, "Namaste" and "Light & Life" actions you can perform, Fabien as a contact, and the highly anticipated Yoga activity from singleplayer, then I think it's safe to say Rockstar is out of touch with their fanbase.

Sad thing is, I can see the above happening. They made a Beach Bum update for crying out loud.

Did I say just to look at? No, I did not. I said it would be good to have as something to remember the update by. Obviously if it's a weapon then yes you can kill people with it. And no, killing doesn't honour veterans, but its GTA what do you expect? And how am I "lying"?
