You say that, but it can be argued that the USA is largely a Christian nation; therefore Easter would be considered a national holiday.

 

As for St. Patrick's Day, there are statistically seven times more Irish people in America than in Ireland, with the biggest population being in New York; which also host's the biggest St. Patrick's Day parade in the world, second to Dublin.

 

So technically both are american holidays, therefore relevant.

Seems like non religious people or different beliefs will have a bitch fit. It reminds me how most of this forum acted about the 4th update ( how how they don't celebrate that "sh*t" day because the weren't american ) I pointed out the fact that the game takes place on "american soil". But I think non religious people or differnt beliefs would cry about it.

It would be even better if the time is stuck at 00:00 midnight in the game until halloween finishes. There will be mist and fog everywhere.

They would call it something like "The Spring Update" or something. Just like the "Festive Suprise", which really is just the "Christmas Update".

 

Celebrating a national holiday is fine, but a religious one will cause backlash. If they do it, it will focus on the non religous side, easter bunnys, eggs, green stuff, 3/4 leaf clovers etc.

I don't care for these themed updates, they get boring quickly. Novelty wears off quickly, with every update I buy less and less of the 'shiny new toys'.

 

I'd rather see an interior update where all the fast food places are opened up, as well as Bahama Mamas and a few other nightclubs.

Instead of people constantly worrying about when and what the next update is going to be and getting disappointed when it don't happen (take v-day this year. Look at all the people mad they didn't get something that wasn't even said to happen), why not enjoy what you have, speculate a LITTLE for fun (not go diehard 'it must happen!') and be surprised/ enjoy when stuff is announced to truly happen?

 

Not disappointed because it wasn't promised, but since a lot of people lost most of their Valentine's stuff since Christmas it would be fair to get the chance of getting the items again.

Very true, sure alot of people thought that updated was going to be reissued ( myself included, I was wrong and gave rockstar too much faith ) but it would have been nice for people to reget what they lost. Well, regardless of how much the cards actually get put towards further DLC development, I'm sure we both can agree that small DLC released at regular intervals would increase the sales of said Cash Cards while making the game better due to increased content. Think about if they did one for every month. Jan-New Years, Feb-Valentines Day, March-St. Patty's Day, April-Easter/April Fools/4:20/Earthday, May-Cinco de Mayo, June-Freedom Day, July-Independence day, August-????*, September-Labor Day, October-Halloween, November-Thanksgiving, December-Christmas.

Now the could always mix it up and do ones from other countries. But currently there is time in between DLC's that you can save up more than enough money to be able to purchase everything when it releases.

 

**August does have a major one, but there is tons of small "weird" ones.

 

As to buildings and restaurants, why would you not want fully fleshed out buildings? User created content could definitely make use of that. Do a capture job where you have to steal chicken nuggets, lol. For those of use who do creative videos, being able to use interiors would be great. It would add another place to get health from as right now it is only from snacks. And it would bring us a bit closer to being like SA.

Oh, and if we ever get Mission Creator, interiors would be great for that as well.

 

And for those who enjoy the Free Mode mayhem, being able to go inside buildings would definitely be helpful. See a tank, duck into a building and skirt out the back.

Sounds great to me but I doubt it will happen. Seems like the things rockstar should do they don't and the things they shouldn't they do. I use to be a huge rockstar fan but since GTA 5 came out, they are disappointing me in a huge way. Now before anyone says I'm "entitled", the GTAO trailer even said "a vast growing online experience" or something to that nature. I've yet seen anything that shouldn't have been included in the game from the start ( except for certin Holiday updates ) It's mostly all garbage they were in the process of making but never included with release.

More updates means more content. Now most people that believe cash cards pay for updates can see this as another reason why more updates aren't released.
