GTA 5 Map Enviroment/Gameplay Feeling

Recommended Posts

First I'd like to say that I never played GTA 5 and I'd like to ask you one thing about the map and gameplay. First of all how does the map feels like when you play GTA 5 compared to GTA IV, let's say in my opnion GTA IV's map feels like kinda Huge (not talking about the size itself), and when I see some GTA 5 gameplay videos I always see that the whole gameplay with the map looks like somehow smaller. Well that's just my opinion.

For eg. compare Just Cause 2 and some other game maps' enviroment like Watch Dogs or Sleeping Dogs (not talking about the size of the maps) or GTA 5 to GTA IV map mods

Let's say in GTA IV I feel huge in the small map which feels like huge, and in GTA 5 for eg. I would feel like small in the huge map that LOOK small, well I don't know how to explain it to you guys

If you can play on Current gen, I advise you to play in First person view and only walk in the city or in the country side and you will fully appreciate the scale of the map.

Also you have some different environnement who give different ambiance ( desert, mountain, city..) and it allows to change the impression of always being in the city that one can have in GTA IV or Watchdogs

It's big. Nothing to complain there (If someone will try here in this thread). If so: http://z0r.de/6223

The gameplay is great, as Mister P said. But only on Ps4. So get a Ps4 and GTA V or if you already got next gen, get Ps4.

Its totally worth. I'm still play it sometimes, after coming home of work :D

What an utterly ridiculous thing to say, honestly.

When you're looking at everything from the eyes of person standing in the world rather than a camera chasing you, FPS mode does indeed help you see the scale of things.

Things look bigger in first person, better a lot of the time.

Sometimes I kinda like to take a 3rd Person View while driving through Blaine County...

Its look so awesome on my Ps4... but on First Person playing does make much more fun.

Much more fun. :)
