OT: besides the leaked content do you think there will be any more vehicles?

 

I know it sounds like a moronic thing to say since I'm in this topic...but all these leaks are taking away some of the excitment for me. I hear you say "wtf gtfo then", and i completely agree - i should - but i cant.

I really hope there are a few things kept secret right till release. Anyone think therewill be?

I'd say it's more of an EVO X.

 

If it truly was the EVO, then it would be placed under the Maibatsu brand.

 

It is an Evo. It wouldn't make sense to have a Subaru under Karin either, would it?

 

Errm the Sultan?

 

The Sultan is a Lexus IS300/Toyota Altezza mixed with an Evo. Not a Subie.

I dunno. If the heist content (cars, clothes, etc.) can be purchased and kept upon downloading the content/update, I

l'll buy some of the vehicles. If they require the heists to be played in order to unlock the content, then I won't know what to do.

Mitsubishi hasn't built a WRC car aswell for many years, and the last one was sh*t.

 

All they have now is Group N or r4 class cars and they are mighty slow.

You need to find a crew or friends unless you don't care to play them. When it is downloading I will be on pins and needles...

Considering they said that heists on consoles would be released a few weeks before the PC version, makes sense to either be released this week or next. I think if it was next week, we would have heard something by now so they will probably put up an article next week some point then release the week after. That would make the most sense to me judging by what they said, unless they decide to delay it again.

There is more to rally than WRC. The car pictured is a full fledged race car.

 

Besides, the Sultan is based off the Toyota Altezza. Toyota has plenty of rally cars.

Both cars are basically the same

 

Toyota has plenty of rally cars.

Because they use their models from the main brand for competitions, except for the Lexus SC430 and RCF in the Japanese Super GT

True true. I can't find any factory backed Altezza rally cars. They weren't awd so I guess it would have cost a bit. Regardless, the in game car is awd, has rally inspired mods, so I guess that makes it the closest rally car.

 

All this talk about real manufactuers doesn't really matter. Karin made the Sultan, an awd car that does decent off road.

 

That being said, I'm expecting the Kuruma to dust it.

Well I don't know if it pertains to this conversation, but Toyota has announced it is returning to the WRC. With what car, who knows.

 

And IS's/Altezza's have been used in lower level/minor competition, they just don't get any of the recognition as the Lancer did.

Maybe a bomb that leaves AoE damage like a larger Molotov. Toss it like C4, big boom, then large flaming mess?

 

Or it could be only used to get us into bank vaults and such with no free-roam purpose.
