I wonder if R* will make an announcement soon before they release Heists, or if they will directly release the update because there's already a trailer.

 

Most likely just release it. The trailer is the announcement.

we'll get a newswire announcement. excluding the marketing hype thing, there's still a lot we don't know about heists that would be nice to have clarified before release. Like differences between last/current gen, what is available to buy, more detailed look at how everything works. Other than the creator updates things like Hipster just had loads of new stuff to buy, this time we get a pretty big new feature.

So I speculate there might be an announcement this tuesday February 24, and the release on Thursday February 26 or March 3.

Got a hunch it will come out on Tuesday the 24th because it is exactly one month for R* to fix bugs, pc will get a day one patch anyway.

Then pick your crew and select what gear you will be using, there's nothing to explain.

It is an Evo. It wouldn't make sense to have a Subaru under Karin either, would it?

A problem on Rockstar's part. Other cars also have incorrect manufacturers compared to their real life counterpart.

Still why would it be under the Karin brand if it's an EVO? Because it's an WRX STI.

They said early 2015 and that it would be available on all platforms. that doesn't mean it was coming out with PC. they only said that after PC was delayed indicating the heist release date would come before the new delayed pc date. It's very possible they were going to release PC and then release heists a few weeks to a month after PC release, but i doubt R* planned on releasing heists and PC at the exact same time. Anyone who remembers the GTA IV PC fiasco knows R* will have their hands full with PC, and that they likely wouldn't want to deal with heist issues on consoles, as well as all the bugs coming out on PC at the exact same time.

The default hood and body style is all Subaru WRX. Evos are more boxy looking with vented hoods.

They more recently said Heists would be in the coming weeks before the PC Launch.
