Character Deleted?

So my main character was deleted dont know how or why. He was level 152 all dlcs and everything been playing since day 1 on the ps3 all the way till now on the ps4. I contacted rockstar and this what they said.

My question is has this happened with any of you guys? And how did you deal with it?

Yeah, just be patient... they'll get round to fixing your ticket in a day or so..

 

they might be slower since it'll involve verifying what you had etc. and costing it..
