Idea for GTA Online

Sorry if this post doesn't belong in this section, I couldn't work out if there's a different section for this kind of post.

 

So the following idea may sound stupid but I think it's amazing. Imagine having Pirate Ships in GTA online available for purchase as pegassus vehicles. Maybe not a Man Of War (as amazing as that would be) but a choice of schooners and brigs.

 

The sailing mechanics would be fairly standard of any GTA boat and the cannons would be Operated individually meaning the more people you have on board, the more cannons can be used simultaneously. Obviously it would not be possible for them to be spawned in the docks (with their size) so maybe instead have them spawn at the Pier and areas of the coastline.

 

Now I know this idea sounds pointless but it may encourage people to make use of the huge stretch of water around the map

 

Imagine having a ship battle against another crew, or making a last stand shooting down planes with a cannon when you're being hunted for a bounty

 

In order to personalise the ships sail colours could be selected when buying the ship and also maybe the ship could be named

I like it! People in subs could Navy seal an explosive to the keel... so the stocky bomb would also have to be unlocked for underwater use.

Intersting idea. Lots of cool pirate attire and swords to purchase. An eye patch too. Also griefers in jets would have a big new target to shot at.

It was with modern ships with modern weapons and modern pirates, sure. Could be done as mini games or actual missions.

I want to play Assassins Creed: Black Flag now. Kicking ass with my fully upgraded Jackdaw... Awesome. I took out all the forts and Legendary Ships with it.

Actually it was AC4 which made made me want it in this game, there's no online naval gameplay on AC4 xD

This is without a doubt the BEST idea I've ever heard

 

I am so down for this.

 

As you see it achieves the exact opposite of what you set out to do, it gets your dupes banned and your thread locked.
