I have fun on V and all but i don't get that feeling that I Had with IV. it's something about it i just can't put my finger on it. Anybody know what it is? I have alot of fun on V, but i don't get "that feeling" y'know? I can't quite put my finger on it but it's something........ for sure Drunken Cowboy
zombibyte
It was new. with Gta V we expected it to be big ,but when Gta IV it blew everyone away.
FATE86
Part of it was the newness of the experience but also part of it was the setting and all the players involved. I for one enjoyed the story in IV more than V for reasons of being able to feel Niko's plight, which carried well with the fantastic voice acting for him delivered by Michael Hollick, and the supporting cast to some extent. As a whole IV had more depth of character, albeit the monotony of missions, lack of content, and a much smaller map in comparison to San Andreas before it and after it. It has that "Filthy & Shiny" quality that only after playing it with Ice mods I had realized. Honestly, I would have accepted GTA IV re-imagined with GTA V's expansions, Michael, Trevor, and Franklin; with Niko out in the world waiting the to be revealed to the player as the main villain, that last bit was just an interesting twist for me. Drunken Cowboy
Without getting too long-winded, GTA IV has an incredible attention to detail and a set identity. It might not have as much to offer as V, but what it does have is extremely intuitive and full of life. V's an okay racing game, an okay shooting game, a passable "story" at best, an okay golf simulator, but it doesn't really hit anything with excellence. Still trying to figure out what "that magic" is about Los Santos. God damn it, Michael. GTA_fear, Zello, codsnipeZz and 1 other
Xyn
I got "that feeling" with Vice City & III. IV completely destroyed it & V did nothing for it.
Totallycasual
I think the game being released basically incomplete with a large chunk of the target audience holding out for current gen consoles and another chunk holding out for PC has fractured the impact the game should have had, maybe im wrong but its just a thought i had
