It's the 1st update for a while, some of us are waiting for a patch to fix certain things (random events not showing up, S&F missions disappearing) and it's hard to believe it'll even come, combined with R* giving no updates about it recently. It's easy to see why people get impatient and pissy. When it comes though, can we save the 1st few "the new cars suck, heists suck" threads for about half an hour? It's gonna be a randomly DLC like any other, this one just features Heists. Some people seems to be expecting something big. It has been...wait for it....1 year and 5 months....since the game was released. And NO updates in a timely fashion. Wow, isn't it weird how all the biggest AAA devs seem to exude a lot of scumbaggery now. Rockstar's rap sheet: - Releasing the game making no mention of PC version and other versions, milking whatever sales they could from 7th gen consoles - Re-releasing as on 8th gen consoles as a new money grab, offering NO CREDIT to previous buyers and effectively charging $60 for some retextures, animals, and first person mode - Delaying the PC version behind the November release of the Peasantstation4 and sh*tbox1... - Delaying the PC release FURTHER another 2 months until late March. - Charging PC gamers FULL-PRICE for a game that is effectively 1.5 years old at this point. And offering NO CONSOLATION other than "pre-order and get a dated, old, free Rockstar game that regularly goes on Steam sale for $4.99" If I preorder GTAV from Rockstar I can get Max Payne 2 for free? Are you cereal? That's your incentive? Watch Dogs had a bad succes, badly sold, bad reception, bad critics, that's why "don't make me laugh" A guy said I've more respect for Ubisoft then Rockstar Games when every title R* releases has sold very high on sales, good reception, high scores, high critics, etc. So if R* releases at any point "Agent" it will have better scores obviously then any game that Ubisoft had released so far excluding Battlefield franchise obviously. Pretty much everything you've said here is subjective and opinionated. You can make any game sound bad if you summarize it like a 5 year old. GTAV was a terrible, non-fun game which is a copy of the 8 games in its series, with a ridiculous story and the same recycled missions. Nick930930 Posted February 22, 2015 Share Posted February 22, 2015 (edited) I don't really feel like adding to this, but I can't help but say I rather enjoyed Watch_Dogs. I thought it was a really cool game and I loved walking around all slow and epic in the rain. The graphics were still really good (despite obvious downgrades). The game recieved way too much hype, which always ends up disappointing a majority of people. Had the game not been hyped up, people would be going crazy about it just like they do with garbage games like Just Cause 2 or Sleeping Dogs. That being said, yes, GTAV is a far superior game.
