So I realize it's not hear yet and obviously I don't have one. But I'm planning on getting a Casco and am already thinking ahead to how I'm going to paint it.

I usually like to paint my cars in colors that are representative of the IRL cars that inspired the GTA cars. The Casco looks like it is based on e Maserati 3500 GT.

Thoughts/comments/opinions?

An official Maserati colour I pulled from paintref.com

I tried this color just now.

 

The crew editor didn't want to save that color, but I tricked it into saving using known techniques. But although in the crew editor, it looks like a rich, dark red, in the game it actually looks pale and washed out. Nothing like the paint sample on paintref.com.

I'm having trouble again setting crew colors that the social club doesn't like. I was able to set them in the past by just typing in the number and clicking the save button while the number field was still active, but that doesn't seem to be working for me right now.

 

What was the other method I saw somewhere, where you paste a JavaScript line into the address bar?

You use the "Inspect Element" thing.

Oh that's not going to work for me, I do everything on an iPad. No "inspect element" tool.

 

I could've sworn I read something somewhere about entering a JavaScript command into the address bar, a command that had the color code inserted into it.

Is this car on ps3?Yes, it's on all consoles.

 

As for the rims, Spectacus. I'd go with Chrome Cheetah RR rims. They look the closest to the real Evolution X rims.

 

EDIT: Or you could put on the regular or carbon ones because I know you like black rims.

What wheels would you guys recommend for a Tailgater? Forgot to upload pictures to Social Club, but I have it with the stock wheels at the moments.

Me too but I prefer white ones more.

personally i like the Sports Uzer rims, but there are others that look good too imo.

You can make em chrome if you want a luxury look.

I'd go for Chrome Obey RS wheels. They look identical to the Tailgater's stock wheels (which I really like) and it gives the car a luxury look.

 

 

As for the Declasse Gang Burrito, I'm not sure I'd go for orange. It looks nice but I would've gone for a darker color.

They don't quite fit the car as those are Lamborghini rims.

Yes, those look pretty nice as well.
