Any 1966-1970 Mustangs in the game?

Yes, I believe thr Tampa will return. Many hints already in game, much like the Dukes/Blista.

It doesn't resemble a classic Mustang at all though, and I would know.

I think there is also a Uranus in the handling code or something. You can find a destroyed one somewhere around the map.

The spoiler/headlights/foglights are damn near a direct copy of the Cosworth.

The side/rear of the car is definitely Mustang though. Just make it RWD, V8 sound, and make us fox body lovers happy lol.

Yeah Fox, my Mach 1 is a 72. I doubt there would be very many happy people if a Dominator Classic was based off a 71-73 haha. People always want the 67-70.

I would love a titanium massive bore fart can like exhaust on one side of the car that's sticking out as an exhaust option. Probably forget a spoiler and slam the car. That would look beautiful.

A 1967 Shelby 350GT or 1969 Boss 302 would be cool. The sound of Steve McQueen's mustang in the movie "Bullitt" would be a good choice for engine/exhaust sounds. The Dominator painted red with black stripes and rear window cover has a 1969 Boss 302 look but has crap sound on my ps3 version. The mustang in "Bullitt" is a 1968 GT with a 390 engine.

The Dominator is and will be the Mustang in the game, get over it. R* is not going to put 2 versions of the same car in the game.

Oh really?

Weird, it's almost like they did that already. Twice.

Yep and you also have two versions of the baller. The old boxy one and the modern evoque. Don't forget the Oracle 1 and 2.Mesas as well in a way

In more obvious ones, there's also the Rat Loader and the Rat Truck.

Which is quite literally two versions of exactly the same slow car/truck.

There's also the coquette

We can keep the chain going if you want but I wouldn't recommend it. Let's break it shall we?

with spoiler / without, rusty / clean, caged / cageless is not what I was talking about

My point was 2 separate versions a, modern and classic is not going to happen, Forgot about the Coq classic but those are really different looking cars. The Dominator is not that different from a late 60's mustang, I'd can't see R* giving us another one

write back when they do

You didn't acknowledge the Cavalcades, Ballers, or Oracles. Look at how similar the two Cavalcades are and tell me that doesn't entirely contradict your "they look too alike" arguement

Or even the Racecar variants, in all senses, just a livery and a higher top speed

Right we have 2 Ballers so were gonna get a 69 mustang :panic:

The Dominator has the front end of the 05-09 Mustangs, but the rear of the 99-04s.

And the interior of god knows..

The rear Isnt 99-04. It just has the lights slanted at a similar angle. On the 99-04s, each red lense was connected and stuck out at an angle similar to shingles. The dominator has them in recessed individual sections. Also the 99-04s had the license plate between the taillights

Declasse Vigero maybe?

No, that is a mix between a 1967-69 Chevy Camaro

You can get an old camaro/pontiac. Its called the Ruiner. Has great mods and is really fast. Give it a try.

The Imponte Phoenix and Ruiner are Pontiac Firebird and Trans Am.

Coquette/Coquette Classic/Coquette Classic Convertable, Dune Loader/Rat Loader/Rat Truck, Rancher XL/Granger, Oracle1/Oracle2, Rusty Rebal/Clean Rebal, Buffalo/Buffalo MK II, Old Balla, New Balla, Sandqueen 4 door/Sandqueen 2 door. Civilian Mesa/Merry Weather Mesa, and I'm sure there are more that I'm just not thinking of right now.

Ooop, just thought of one. The Emperor and the newer Albany, both are based on different years of Cadillac Sedan Devilles

So will they add a 60's Mustang who knows. Is it possible yes. But I honestly I think they will gives us a 5.0 next as you can find a wrecked ones out and about (old hotel in Sandy Shores is a good location).

While it's obviously supposed to be modern, the Dominator does have a lot of '70 Mustang fastback in it... especially the front, roof and to a degree, the back.

It almost looks as much like one of those as it does a modern Mustang, to me anyway.

Not truly a "classic" mustang, but it does an alright job of it.

I would. The '71-73s are my favorite body style.
Then again, I also actually like Mustang II's (aka: the "Pinto-stang") which I guess is blasphemy to most people.

Dude the rear IS 99-04..I should know, I own a 99 GT.

It's not identical, but that's what it's modeled after. They don't make the cars identical to their real life counterparts to avoid legal issues..

Regardless, the 3 bar tail lights are a staple of Mustang styling.

I would love a kinda extreme styled version, that could be thrown into Sports Classics. Like some of the classic Mustang concept cars.

But I may be alone in those wishes.

Sabre Turbo perhaps?

The Sabre Turbo is based off of GM's A-Body platform from the late 60's to early 70's, so it's a Chevelle/Cutlass/Skylark/442/etc. It all depends on how you modify it.

The Rapid GT Classic is quite similar to an old mustang in the front, however, it does not have the iconic three lights on the back.

The Ellie is based on a custom mustang - in my opinion an ugly model mustang - but is slow as sh*t.

The Rapid GT Classic is based on an Aston Martin, which is based on the mustang, so it's one car removed from the mustang. But it looks enough like one, and looks nicer in general, to where I would suggest getting it instead of the Ellie. Not replying to OP, just to anyone who's interested in the topic.

Best answer, ellie is just not quite enough for me, it looks like a restomodded shelby tbh, would love to see these though

The Ellie is total dad car levels. Restomodded and based on what a vague memory of the car was through a 50 year old man trying to remember the 70's.

I swear Rockstar found this exact photo and said "lets do it, great idea".
