Someone disconnected me?

So I was just in a public lobby messing around....I saw the HPV go flying close by so I chased it down. I was gonna jump him and sell. Idc what anyone has to say aboot this, happened to me a bunch of times and I've done it back so what. He wasn't a low rank, 80-90 or so. Don't remember.

 

So someone else was waiting at the garage for him also. He turned and I shot him up wit the AP, blowing it up. Damn oh well. I drove away aND just went aboot killing and driving arOund. Next thing ik the guy wit the HPV was coming after me.

 

We have a shoot out and I kill him. Then I get up on a roof and blast him a bunch more times. He is on game chat shouting how he was gonna kick me off because he had my IP address? Saying "come down and fight like a man" dude who cares it's a game. We shoot and kill. Like it matters at all.

 

I go on killing him while he went into passive and w/e else. Then I drove off. I hear him talking to someone else and they were gonna jump me. So I shoot a rocket up their a$$es and blast them.

 

I get another shot wit the sniper and WHAMMY I'm all of a sudden booted from online and disconnected from Xbox Live.

How can someone do this? I don't get how it's so easy for people to pull this stuff.

 

 

 

TL;DR

 

Blew up someone with HPV, drove away, they chase me, shoot out with me winning, kid says Imma kick u offline, I get one more kill, I'm booted offline. how can he do this?

Only thing I did was chase down the HPV. Like I have done a bunch of times. And I wasn't the only one. Someone else was already waiting at the garage.

 

Then I left and went aboot my own business. He chased me down and I destroyed him wit all different guns.

 

Voted out of the lobby? But I also got disconnected from Xbox live and had to reboot my xbox. Literally right after this kid kept saying he has my IP and gonna boot me. He couldn't handle that I was beating him in the shoot out that HE started.

It's really easy to get IP addresses on Xbox 360 and PS3.Thats what theh all say

 

Edit: Ive had that said to me hundreds of times by so many squeakers, and yet for some reason no one has ever done anything. How strange.........

Well I've been booted before and voted out of lobbies/jobs but this is just bull. Is there anyway to know if someone booted u or u just got randomly disconnected?

SO far All I can find is BS. It shows the internal IPs givin from a router as the persons actual IP...

 

If you use a direct line from the modem to your xbox then yeah you could be ddos but I havent seen any legit source. (yet)

If their machine is communicating with your machine and vise versa there's always a way to figure out who's who, and dos attacking a router is simple with the right tools. It's happened to me a couple times, its a real cheesedick move.

TBH If you truly believe you were DDOS then contact your ISP ASAP and get a new ip ffs. Then contact microsoft and tell them what has happened and ask them to forward you all the information they have so you can hand it over to the police. The kid would be bricked by MS if you do. But you would have to make a police report for MS to co-operate

Its easy to get someone's IP on the last gen consoles. My friend read out my IP once. Most of the time people say stuff like that they're bluffing, but he actually knew my IP with whatever program it was.

one can easy pinpoint the IP of the victim if they answer a text message on the game.

Everyone keeps saying it so easy but I have yet to see a way that doesnt require direct contact with the player. Not just playing in the same lobby but you have to be in the same party or private chat

I doubt it will be long before Cyber related crimes start to carry significantly heavier penalties.

 

Depending on your ISP you could have a Dynamic IP; helps since at least they can not specifically target you in the Future unless they are both truly able to find your IP and you run in to them again.

Honestly you dont even have to be an ass to get kicked out of freeroam, you only have to own people

Hell i once got the notification of someone trying to kick me when i was barely out of my garage(probably someone who tought i was a modder and woud start killing people)
