What happened to Voice Messages for Next (current) Gen?

Something that has been plaguing my mind since buying the XB1, is ability (or lack there of) to send voice messages to other players. Whether a quick response to friends, or sometimes sending the target of a ass whipping the troll song as a response, I feel that the lack of this feature is a MASSIVE step backwards for the XB1 community.

 

What are your thoughts? and why do you think Microsoft would see removing this feature as any sort of improvement to their "next-gen" consoles?

Yes because clearly, sending a song in response is far more emotionally damaging then the cussed out responses typed out in leet speak (f4ck 0ff cun7)

 

That really makes a huge difference when someone is raging...

i;ve only have the 360 version of gtao and the times i get voice messages is when someone wants you to join a crew or a event their hosting or they want you to join them in a glitch or they want to do a money glitch.

so i wouldn't miss voice messages!

Microsoft sucks, that's why...they don't have any ideas to steal from other consoles and their own ideas are full of fail and AIDS, in typical Microsoft fashion

OT: Rammed a guy in a race in the early days of GTA Online. Got a voice message 'the f*ck you think you doin?' Thought it was funny. Hopefully be added when I eventually move to X1.
