helpplease Posted February 19, 2015 Share Posted February 19, 2015 So I am getting interested in speed running. Mainly watching but am trying also VCS. Now this isn't a thread for hardest to easiest GTA but what you think is hardest to speed run which I think is a different question altogether. I think the hardest GTA to speed run is VCS. The world record is just under 5 hrs which isn't that far behind San Andreas believe it or not. Furthermore, that 5hrs is very intense and mission heavy whereas a lot of the San Andreas speed run is consumed by travelling great distances. Don't get me wrong its very intensive also and a lot to remember but VCS has a lot of variety in the missions which would require you being constantly on alert. For example, Moonshine Blowout. There is also a huge police presence and little traffic to getaway. And then of course there are the Sharks and Bikers chasing you down everywhere which I think would make the game more harder to speed run than San Andreas. I think the easiest would be Vice City which is very sequence orientated. There are a lot of glitches and shootouts where you can run past (Phntom Pehn) or helicopter past (Death Row). You can also use the replay glitch. GTA 3 I think would be just as easy to speed run. Hardest to easiest to speed run: VCS, San Andreas GTA 4 GTA Advance VC Liberty City Stories GTA 3 What do you think? Are there any speed runners on this forum?
