Hands up who is shocked by how tasteful giantsgiants sadler is? Lol

srsly wtf?

Exactly. It's the first picture of one of his cars that does not make me want to claw my own eyes out. :D

Oh, an on-topic: OP, you might want to take a look at the youtube channel of Broughy1322. That guy is really, really helpful with all things racing.

First you need to estimate youre braking point in corners, also you are better off braking to early then to late and crash or miss corners

also when taking a corner try to "hit the apex" as close as posible(again, rather miss it then crash)

Also take the corners as subtile as posible, thus when entering a corner going to the right you shoud come from a position left of the road, hit the apex and then go as much to youre left as posible

also stay away from youre handbrake and use the normal one

and anticipate that everyone thats behind you or next to you is gonna try and ram you

Further, whenever you have someone hitting youre back at youre left, steer left and vice versa

Also, whenever a large group of cars close together is taking a corner and youre right behind them, slow down, wait till half of them crash and then try to pass them just like that

That being said...the easiest way to get youre upgrades is honestly to trade wins....most people racing have fully upgraded cars already so it puts you into quite a disadvantage just for that

Arrows to Athens

1. Get a friend

2. Host Criminal records

3. Invite your friend and only your friend

4. Put it to 1 lap and no catchup

5. Use quick cars like a super

6. Let your friend allow you to win every time

this is an amazing tip for turning right and never braking...

not exactly a good tip for racintg though, no-one wants a zoolander driver that cant turn left

OP said he wanted upgrades. He can easily do this by doing what I stated above. Regardless I'm still answering the OP.

If someone takes you out good (on a lap race) and practuically guarantees you'll not catch up by doing so, make a point of noticing his name (and car type/colour). It is then your personal quest to drive the wrong way avoiding other racers until you come across him/her, at which point it is your new objective to ruin their race as they have already ruined yours.

If people want to play dirty, that's absolutely fine, just make sure they don't win by doing so. You'll get satisfaction from it.

if everyone else has green, pink or chromed cars. take it easy in the start, there Will be a massive crash in 10-20 seconds, when that happens. pass everyone and win.

I win all the time in my Hot Pink Turismo R though :(

Some tips?

Host your own lobbies and set them with Custom Rides off, this creates an even playing field for all participants including, most importantly, yourself. Pick a track you're good at/comfortable with/have practiced on and turn off catch-up (which is dumbass rubber-banding for noobs). Also do a race with only a couple of people maximum. The less people the higher chance you have a % of winning the race and padding your 'W' stats.

If you put traffic on you can really gain a huge lead if you know the track and car well and are playing with "n00bs."

Learn how to do a turbo start, this is an important ability as this will help you out in front of the pack as there are a surprising amount of people who don't know how to do this. Watch for people drafting (slipstream) off of you (if you have it on) they will blow by you. Having traffic turned on helps to mitigate this. Jumping out in front can be important because usually within the first couple of corners in a contact race there is always a few people who spin out or will ram you and this will make winning a LOT more difficult from here on out. If you can get out in front and have the pack take most of each other out and with catch-up off it's a free win.

yah, i have a chrome adder and im a clean racer so there is exceptions. =)

Ram the guy in front of you because 9/10 times others will do the same in your position. (just kidding)
