My Maxing out strength stat method

Hi everyone, long time reader here first time posting I hope you find this useful.

This is how I maxed out my strength stat fairly quickly and earned a small amount of cash in the process.

I discovered my method sort of by accident, but it worked quite well for me thought i would share.

I started the contact mission (blow up 3) near simeons dealership so when I called in my buzzard(not required) it spawned at the hospital to the south east of simeon.

This mission has the cop turned off by default. When I got to the hospital i started a fight with a npc at the bottom of the ladder to the roof. After they went down a paramedic showed up and I started a fight with him. Now here's where the strength building fun begins. We're at the hospital so there are paramedics spawning quite often to help their fallen buddies. When one sees you fighting another medic he gets pissed and turns to a red enemy circle on your map. You can keep fighting medics until your heart is content with no chance of cops coming. They also fight fair even though your eventually surrounded by angry medics they always fought me one at a time waiting to attack until the previous one goes down. After a while my health would go down I'd hop back in my car back up a few yards, eat some snacks and then right back at it. I cant recall how long it took me to max out strength but it was fun and you get to pick up a few thousand dollars in the process. I find this method to be quicker than beating people on the pier during other no cop missions because the medics are aggressive and dont run away like npc's at the pier.

Also I've tested this on the Cleaning the cat house mission, the medics didn't spawn like they do on blow up 3. This may work with other no cop missions but blow up 3 is the only one I've found so far with consistent results. PS4 by the way, not sure if it matters.

Give it a try if your strength stat needs help, I had a good time doing it, now i still use it occasionally (tho not as long of a duration) when i play blow up 3 solo to add a little time to the mission for a better payout.

Think I'll give this one a try - been trying to max out my characters strength on the pier as I'm holding out on transferring my PS3 character and it does get dull

I can confirm this works haha thanks so much for this! I've been wanting to increase my strength stat.

Doing the exact same thing, you can blow up cars and the firemen will also come adding to the people you can beat up haha

Nice! Glad I could help.

I'll try the fireman thing too sounds like fun.

There's going to be piles of first responder bodies.

Thank goodness its a video game haha,

(I was a volunteer firefighter in my hometown before I moved away.) :miranda:

Indeed a good find ! , too bad it got lost in the forums

Recently maxed this skill, have another character i will try this on, expecting it to be the fastest method

*i forgot it myself, but with any skill the growth depends on what life-style you choose when creating your character

sadly (on ps3) medics didnt spawn for me consistently, i found the best place for me was, the bars across the street from the blow-up II parking, in daytime you can do a full block run around with many groups of npc, by night there will be a group of people at each side of the corner, with drag-queens that will turn enemy and can take a punch

*ftr: i was using mission death metal

Did this on PC recently for a second character with <20% strength.

Took about 45 mins to fully max strength stat.

So it would take roughly an hour to max from zero.

Thank you!

Your Welcome!! and good to hear that they spawn on the PC just like current gen consoles.

Too bad about the old systems, I was hoping it would work on them all.

also -pretty darn sure- you dont need to kill, punch them down and go to next seems faster

Sorry for the bump, but this is by far the most effective method I've tried due to the infinite spawning of paramedics and health boost from the ambulances.

i used the mission pier pressure during the day you'll find bodybuilders working out on the beach. beat them all up, go to the sidewalk that leads to the mask shop, and run back to a new batch of bodybuilders!

yeah but this method is really the best at the moment.

it's also a little better than the bodybuilders because the paramedics keep coming to you infinitely.

it's also a good tipp to blow up a couple vehicles in between to get the firemen to join the fight in addition.

although it doesn't work everytime.

sometimes there wouldn't be any paramedics to be found in that mission (or just a few).

so you might have to start the mission again to get it to work properly.

I tried this today as I still had a couple of bars to go to max out my strength. It worked pretty well. The paramedics didn't spawn continuously and sometimes they would run away from me instead of trying to fight. On quite a number of occasions I would just have to run around a bit as well and kill normal pedestrians while I waited for another ambulance or batch of paramedics to spawn in. Didn't try destroying vehicles as someone else mentioned to attract fire fighters but that probably would have been a good idea. On the whole though I think it was better than the Pier Pressure method and a pretty efficient way to boost strength so thanks to the thread starter for the tip :)

I was just going to post a link to this in another thread asking about maxing the strength stat but it got deleted before I could reply. This is the best method I've seen so hopefully the bump gets the OP from the other thread to see it but useful to anyone looking to max out their strength.

Wow thanks for the bump I haven't looked at this thread in a while. Almost 11,000 views, I believe this thread is my personal record "most views of anything I've wrote on the internet" haha

Thanks everyone, I'm glad it's been helpful.

Bump sounds good I'm gonna try it tomorrow. I tried beating up the body builders yesterday for at least an hour and it didn't really build up my stat that much. Certainly didn't max it out. And I was over 50% to start with.

BUMP! Tried this yesterday and it worked like a charm. I wanted to add something. I did exactly what you said to do but at a certain point the paramedic spawn rate tends to slow down a bit so I blocked the street with ambulances and started dragging people out of their cars and killing them while I waited for more paramedics to spawn. I would only do it for 8 cars or so, not straing too far away from the stairs you mentioned, and then I would explode the cars so firemen would appear. After they arrived I would pull the driver out and fight off all 4 firemen at once and by the time you kill two you've got medics rushing over to help them. Got 2 and a half bars in less than two hours. Sorry for not timing it properly. :/ Thanks a lot for this tip as I found it to be the best method of achieving max strength!

This might be a bit off-topic but a good way to max out your driving stat is to do stunt jumps and wheelies, and driving onto oncoming traffic and doing near-misses. Hope this helps others.

I did it by creating a capture full of npcs who are hostile to you. Make them able to withstand more than a few hits and it can be done pretty quickly.

Awesome, thanks, worked perfectly

Only took about 20-30 min

And I died once cause the firemen shot water at me :(

Thanks OP! I recently started fresh on a new account with a new character, and this method worked flawlessly for quickly raising the strength stat. The last time I powerleveled strength was back when you could punch an NPC occupied car in some mission.

Ah, memories. My guy became the hulk he is today beating on a poor lady's Fusillade* for 20 minutes.

Pretty sure Golf/Tennis build strength too btw.

*stop laughing at the back
