Maze Bank Arena - Endless Opportunities?

I know it's been less than 2 years since GTA has come out, but I'm really surprised, (and a bit disappointed) that Rockstar hasn't added any content for the Maze Bank Arena. Unlike the Casino, they don't have to worry about cash cards being used for gambling. I think the type of activities, and jobs could be endless in the Arena. Similar to San Andres, they could expand it greatly, especially on Next Gen systems. Some of the things that come to mind.

 

Destruction Derby, Moto-Cross, and BMX racing

Unique DM's

Sports such as Basketball, Roller Derby, MMA

Contact Mission, or even a Heist involving Maze Bank Arena

 

Just a few of the many things Rockstar could implement for SP, and Online.

The space isn't available though. It's actually rented out for Singstar.

 

But no, I do have fond memories of the arena in San Andreas. That was pretty awesome.

Demo Derby, Moto-Cross racing (as you stated above) and more...

 

Does anybody else hate the fact that there are "dead zones" (which I usually call them) in open-world games? So much opportunity for these areas such as the Maze Bank Arena for example but it's only use was for going inside for that 'Fame or Shame' mission for Michael and Trevor. The interiors for all these building (well a few of them) are there but Rockstar just doesn't open them up.

 

I better get out of this thread before the "console limitations" people get in here because that's no excuse for it not to be on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Umm lets see. GTA game out Sept 2013. It is now February 2015. Simple math equals that to 1 year and 5 months. In my post, I clearly stated less than 2 years. May want to improve your 1st grade reading skills.

There's a lot of opportunity there so therefore I'm not going to expect anything. R* has done a lot of updates, absolutely, but they've rarely been more than the minimum. Or people get so hyped up and then disappointment.

 

Remember the period before the high life update where everyone was overjoyed about the possibility of new apartments and people were trying to guess which building the new apartment might be? Instead, new apartments in the same buildings that are in many regards worse - and for about twice the price.

 

Again, I love the game, but I'm not getting my hopes high at all going forward in terms of going far above and beyond.

If they released it and actually allowed interiors to be used in the Content Creator by removing the idiotic interior restrictions, then yes. Absolutely.

We can wish, but my relatively new PS3 seems to be near content limit. If there's too much action it freezes. I can't imagine R* adding much more content to last gen. Here's hoping that current gen gets moar bigger better content, Then and only then, it may be time to upgrade.

 

In the meantime, I recently built a race on top of the arena. I know there are already many of these but I enclosed it with a 360 degree wallride to contain all vehicles. Then I added "tags" and that's when I discovered I wasn't the first to do that either.
