But, having played all the GTA games, I can safely say the only area the game is letdown is in the humour department. Whilst the same juvenile humour is present, it is perhaps not as hard hitting or funny as previous installments of the series. Case in point, Vice City radio commercials: You cannot tell me the GTAV radio commercials are as funny as those. Highlights: Rusty Brown Ring Donuts - "sometimes I like to wear womens panties and walk around 5th street" Complete The Look - "wow, you look ambiguous" Exploder: Evacuator Part II - "i'll cry when i'm done killin" Salivex: "It's like having a salivation army in my mouth! Now I can suck my partners LOLLYPOP all night!"What do you guys think? Has the humour on the radio decreased to make way for realism? Or is the world of GTA as juvenile and full of parody as ever? No kidding, but still, with all of those constant threads, V is still the best game. It's a shame people spend their time complaining about it rather than enjoying it. This has been discussed extensively in a thread called "why does this game try so hard to be funny" there you can find many opinions on the subject, as well as the writing, comedy stuff like that. A lot of comparisons too so it's unlike any other thread. some hate it, some like it, others talk mainly about the lack of certain activities. Many agree with your opinion though so that good. The on Trevor's cb radio is funny also like the exchange between the serial killer trick driver and the security guard. I'm all for immature jokes, but the most of the SA humor was basically just 'LOL sex, penis, boobs LOL'. That style of humor is still in IV and V, but it has been toned down a lot. Personally I think it is funnier when there aren't sexual innuendos on every street corner, it makes it funnier when you do find one. I like the way IV and V have both a humorous and serious side depending on what you are looking for. I don't know about you but seeing a giant cock on the roof of an ice cream van kind of breaks the immersion for me, that style of humor is more saints row style now.
