Reverse killing

Jaysus, why are so many people being absolute dicks to this guy?** Usually its fairly obvious when someone's putting these stories out to show of their maddddd skillzzzz but this doesn't strike me as one of those. He's not asking for a pat on the back, he's asking a genuine question so that he can improve. I can only say that I appreciate his humour in his responses - at least he's not taking some of you seriously.

OP, I haven't really dealt with this issue before so I can't really help you. Knowing me I'd end up blowing them up a ton of times (and, yes, therefore having to pay the insurance but whatever, I can earn it back easily through a couple of race playlists), waiting for them to get bored of the easy reverse-kills so that they exit their car and engage face-to-face or just take to a rooftop and wait for them to follow me up. Essentially I'd just do whatever I could to get them out of the car.

Probably wouldn't succeed, though. I'm not incredibly patient.

**Edit: Stupid question with no answer other than 'have you been on these forums before?!'. My bad.

Pretty much what you said.

OT: I really don't have any advice to give you because when I'm backed into a corner ( like most players ) I'll just RPG your ass. One thing you could try OP, try to get them to think you're "pinned" down and call a mugger on the driver. If the driver gets pulled out of the car that means a shotgun blow to the face.

Grenade launcher works better than RPG in close quarters and its cheaper

Didn't think the Adder was bulletproof from the back

It's not really "bulletproof" as stated in others replies. Theirs two small windows in the back that you can shoot through to kill the driver and passenger. They are towards the top of the car on the backside. They can be difficult to shoot through if you are frantic while being shot at. An AP pistol will work just fine against the reverse killers if you manage to shoot through those two back windows.

As for the "madddd skillzzz" showcased here, you lost man. Big time. It sucks to die but losing 70 k sucks way more. Adders aren't bulletproof anyway, all you needed to do was find some suitable cover and stay there, let them back up towards you and pick your spots. Or Go somewhere where they have to follow you on foot, lay a trap with prox mines. That's elusive. If they don't want to get out of their cars, so what? Move on before you're broke.

I didn't want to sound like a dick OP, but that's what I think: 70k is a big loss for free roaming, even if you got a lot of money.

Now people with that "I dgaf about money" posts will say they dgaf about money, but I rather spend it on something else instead of giving it to my enemies.

If you can't keep up with their team'd up trolling, go passive mode, get a cargobob and etc.

Last night I had a fantastic PvP tussle with a pair of high ranking players who started out on the rooftops with snipers, realising that they were outsniped they broke it down on street level when they called in their Chromed out Adders so they could do some reverse killing.

I didn't have many RPG rockets, I believe I had around 6 and used them to destroy the Adders (and said drivers) and cost me approx 70k gta dollars in insurance payout, once I was out of ammo then things got difficult as one player was lagging so locking on with rifle before getting run over was 50:50, whilst the other guy was a bit crafty and would attack me when the other player was on my case.

Anyway that being said I came out on top and registered more kills than each of them despite being double teamed but a bit disapointed I got flatterned and sprayed too many times than I like against reverse killing players, when I ran out of rockets I had to adapt and sprint/jump around to get an aim at the front and side of the Chradders but doing so was risky, especially with 2 of them.

So any seasoned PvPer have any tips on efficiently killing reverse killers other than using RPGs? Particularly when their is more than one vehicle to deal with?!

Thanks!

You leave the lobby and take it up the ass like a man since you are low level.

Killing people constantly in bullet proof supers is a lose lose situation.. Bad Sport ticks and insurance costs add up.

Fact is... No one wins. This is not COD. Free roam killing has nothing to do with competition.

Sure blowing the guy up gets you a kill... But it gets you a BS tick and you pay the insurance. While the guy in the car laughs.

Both people seem to laugh at each other.

One guy thinks..

`Hurh Dur... i blew you up, get owned`..

The other guys..

`hurh Durh.. have fun paying the insurance and getting BS

Seriously.. if the player in the bullet proof super is feeding you his car and you keep blowing it up. He wants you to do this. So have fun thinking you`re rich and you don`t care. Im sure the other guy does not care either if he keeps feeding it to you.

You both end up looking like losers.. But eventually the guying doing all the blowing up will end up paying out the ass with GTA$ and have to go passive when he gets dodgy status. So the last laugh always goes to the Bullet Proof car driver, since he obviously does nto care about KD ratios.

Whatcha talking crazy for?

I killed those trolls significantly more than they killed me despite their rehearsed double teaming methods.

Perhaps I should rephrase my original question, how can one defeat multiple reverse killers more efficiently without the RPG which does cost $$$ and can get rather boring.

I got suggestions about a cargobob, a tank, standing on the roof, all sounds viable and I shall start giving some of those suggestions a try.

You don`t... You need to get away from them. Theres only one way to deal with them. And its gonna cost you.

Blame R*.

Although using a Mini Gun can help shred their cars up to the point where it starts to smoke.. You might get lucky and avoid the insurance. But its not useful against multiple attackers in bullet proof supers.

Or stash all your cash on an ALT character. Then you can go nuts and not worry about paying anything.

6 kills, the remaining 35 kills were purely from sniping and AP pistol head shots...

All fun, that's the point of playing a game.

Dying too much? Not so fun, hence would like tips on dealing with aforementioned reverse killers working in unison.

Own the RPG, grenade launcher and homing RPG, and keep ammo stocked up on all of them. It's been a long time since a backward-driving supercar guy killed me.

If you are low on ammo for any/all of them, accept a mission invite from your phone, quick-buy all ammo, and quit. It's also been a long time since I went to Ammunation for anything other than body armor refills.

If you're concerned about bad sport or insurance fees, throw a $1000 bounty on your enemy. As long as he's driving his car when you blow it up, you don't pay for it - and a thousand to Lester beats $12,500 to replace an Adder. ...That said, I rarely worry about bad sport (you won't get it unless you stay in a session for hours and go out of your way to blow up almost every PV you see), and I never worry about insurance costs. It's worth the GTA$ to me to win the free roam battles and leave backward-driving trolls angry and frustrated. One of the main reasons I do missions is to fund my "blowing up supercars" account.

Finally, if you want to stop short of spending $70K at once, just learn the eternal lesson that it's better to quit while you're ahead. As soon as you have more kills than them and have just blown up their car, quit. Get where they can't get to you by car, or go do a mission or switch sessions. Leave them wanting more. It's worked for many a great entertainer.

The problem with that concept is. You can only set the bounty once per cool down timer on a player..

And if a player is feeding someone supers to blow up.

-They get blown up.

- Go passive

- Call Mors..get it replaced

- Request PV... Get back in the car and then... Turn off passive

And this takes a few seconds to do... They are back in under a minute baiting to get blown up again.

I didn't know placing a bounty on someone removes the insurance payout.

Yes I absolutely agree with you on the money aspect, you always set aside money for PvP incursions, much like you would set aside money for ammo or vehicles, it's all part of the ingame economy so it's pretty shocking some forum posters on here get hot under the collar at the thought of 70k being lost during PvP, I spend much more on ammo.

Anyhoos, many thanks for the tip - much appreciated.

Don't walk down open streets, stick to claustrophobic spaces that don't allow drive by's or easy escape. try and get them hung up on dumpsters and phone poles and autoshotty the piss out of them.

I should know, all I do is try and run people over.

$70K? Pretty much pocket change if your bank account is in the $5million + level. I'm more shocked that people still drive Adder's. All I ever see now is that crappy Zentorno in which I'll happily blow up every chance I get.

The ability to reverse shoot and register cheap kills (amongst other dumb shiz in this game) is why i have no guilt for receiving millions of dollars from modders and glitches.

My tactic would be to get a jet, set bouties on them in their chradders and then spawn kill. I would then get a tank once they entered passive and allow them to drive into me. Not one dollar spent on insurance and a max of $4k spent on lester.

Then don't allow them to get into cars by repeatedly parking the tank on them. If you're on next gen i dunno what to tell you.

Like I said, you sometimes just need to quit while you're ahead. Once you blow them up a time or two, join a mission, switch sessions - or do what I usually do, which is go somewhere that their supercar can't follow. Like taking a helicopter up to the roof of a building. You're never obligated to stand in one spot, blowing up a car over and over again.

Yeah, if I spend a long time in free roam, I'll easily go through 20 or 30K in ammo. Sometimes even more. It's just the cost of killing, and it's one of the main things I spend money on, after personal vehicle buying and upgrading. I don't mind it. I can see trying not to blow through hundreds of thousands a day, but it's rare that I would spend THAT much.

I'm calling BS on this. You out sniped 2 snipers? I doubt it. And high rank players especially should know you can't reverse kill in Adders. They are not bullet resistant like the zentorno.

OP, remember you can always retreat into a more favorable position. Get to a place like the construction site and choose a CQ weapon like the auto shotty perhaps. Once they get trapped and you kill them off, just hang out by their stupid adders and kill them over and over as they try to get back to the PV. Drop a prox mine somewhere en route to the vehicles and laugh like a maniac when you blow them sky high! Just not to close to the chradders, of course.

Oh yeah if they go passive mode to get the PV back, just get out since they are cheap punks not worth fighting.

Im gonna disagree.. I got 7 mill... And even i feel it when i start blowing them up. Its just a waste of money.

Remember... Both parties are laughing.

Sure you might laugh.. Claim you are rich. Get the kill.

But so are they... They laugh at you paying insurance, wasting ammo and getting BS ticks.

Both sides are laughing at each other...which is the funny part.

I have a confession i have trolled some trash talking people before.

Get into a zentorno, pull up the inventory, hover over suicide, if i see a rocket or a sticky, take the easy wat out, if i dont: keep shooting till i do. Passive? Np, i run you over. With this technique they dont kill you, only pat insirance, and dont get killed by them. Lolz fight fire with thermite.

Dude, you owned their asses, whats to complain about ?

That being said...you can also blow them up with sticky bombs.

Also if complaining about costs, every wise man shoud be prepared to blow 10 000's gtadollars out of the window when thinking about going into a freeroam war.

The answer is simple. Go into passive mode.

I was on street level, whilst my opponents were on rooftops, one of them wasn't particularly comfortable with straifing so he was a standing target, I straife in an unpredictable pattern and speed, and normally try to zoom in and aim at the upper body within 2 seconds, if I spend longer than that which is quite tempting - it would usually be me who is shot down.
